If Bioware had done the job properly in the first place this whole "wheres the friggin patch" business wouldnt be happening!!..Im sick of developers releasing unfinshed games..and if your publishers demand the game to be released unfinshed tell them to go to hell !....its not ok to sell a shirt with a cuff missing ..its not ok to sell lace up shoes with no laces...ITS NOT OK TO RELEASE UNFINISHED GAMES!!!!!!!!!.....you have a whole community up in arms because you ALLOWED your game to be released unfinished!..There Bioware ..this is one unsatisfied PAYING CUSTOMER!
"You have a whole community up in arms"
Do they? Really?
*looks at topic page count*
Page count disagrees with this assumption, if they DID have the whole community up in arms, this topic would be in the hundreds by now. Hell it hasn't even hit page 20 yet.
As has been said numerous times in this post and others, some people aren't experiencing any of these issues, some only a few of them.
Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for the people that have been having the severe issues, personally I've been lucky with just a few freezes here and there as well as a couple of other minor glitches, but I've witnessed such things in pretty much MOST games I've ever played, not just ME2. Computer games can be really complex things and it can be tough sometimes to pinpoint what is causing issues, specially if people aren't having them. Sometimes these bugs can be to some extent out of Game companies hands and can be caused by hardware issues and as such sometimes it can require a patch for the hardware to fix an issue rather than the software, not saying this is likely the case in this instance, but as you brought up the topic of 'games' in general, figured you need to be reminded of this.
Comparing making of games to making shirts with cuffs or shoes with laces clearly shows you don't have a clue if your going to use such poor examples. A game missing such prime components in relation to that example WOULD have been spotted during testing and fixed, I imagine there possibly were such things but in a game akin to Mass Effect 2 there are way more variables that can cause trouble and might slip through.
A prime example, the 'stuck in the air' glitch, I believe this all comes about from the character approaching a certain object from a certain point and catching the glitch at the right point. This happens in more games than just Mass Effect and no doubt will for future games until someone works out a way to ensure it can't.
So just to close my statement, like I said at the start, if you think games will ever be released bug free, then you need to stop playing games because I highly doubt they ever will.
Your full of crap..why is it so hard to finish a game before its released??...yes people make mistakes and may miss things ...but come on of late games have been released effectivley broken you wouldnt buy a broken washing machine or the like why should I be expected to part with my cash for what amounts to an item that does not work properly!
