C'mon guys at least update us, this is beyond rude and ridilious service.
Bought the game nearly 2 weeks ago, it's been good at collecting dust and nothing else, pathetic.
I know they read this kind of stuff and laught but this is the last BioWare game I'm buying 1st hand.

I believe that normally the only update that Bioware will get from Sony is when the patch is posted or the patch was rejected and needs to be resubmitted.
Lets pray its not the second one

Totally missing the good old times (i.e. Atari 2600, j/k) when there still was a comprehensive quality check for console games. If I wanted to deal with patches and stuff like that I would play on PC.
Sorry, just old and a bit frustrated here I guess ...

In order to be fair with us their customers, Bioware should have contacted Sony. Telling us that the patch is waiting for Sony's approval is not enough. Something like "We have talked to Sony and we have been told that the patch will be out next ...." would have been way more proffesional.
Right now we have the information we already had days ago.

this is classic "blame someone else" BS.
one side says they're not doing what they need to do, the other says the same thing about the former.
it's the same BS that Sprint and Samsung pull when Android needs an update.
All we can do is cross our arms and wait... until ME3 comes out, and then we can talk with our wallets. Or... we can get suckered into buying another turd.

Obviously you don't have any real insight into how the system works. There is no set date: Sony will check the patch until it is deemed secure. If Bioware could give us a date, they would. As developers, they are surely infinitely more frustrated than a player; having a great game they worked long and hard on to be bogged down by simple patching issues would be frustrating.

I think you missed a level of quoting there, LOL

But you are right about status coming back from Sony so I think it's safe to assume the patch didn't pass Sony's QA and was sent back to Bioware who are obviously too busy/ ashamed to say "we messed up patch, we are patching the patch to send back to Sony now".
Also is it just me or is the devil emoticon at the end of the first post just taunting us... ¬_¬.....

Didn't have any corrupted save problems thankfully and no other freezes or anything either. I didn't even notice any out of sync dialogue like some of you did. The only thing I encountered was the rainbow bug which fixed itself with a restart. There were some minor slow-downs here and there, where the game looked like it would freeze but everythign was fine.
I stayed away from the Shadow Broker mission, and I probably won't touch it until after the patch, if then

Is my save file corrupt if every time I resume play time and at the LoTSB dlc it freezes after I get the disk that tells me where Liara was heading? I played it the first time as a vanguard and no problem was occurred.
My game freezes at that exact same spot every time. However, on another game, I played the Shadow Broker mission just fine. I don't think your save is corrupt. From what I understand, a corrupt save doesn't load.

P.S:Before restarting I saved in Liara's office.
