Well, now I guess it's time to sit and see if it actually fixes things. 20 megs isnt very big, but if it just makes sounds in cutscenes actually play right I'll be happy.

yeah my ps3 is also an older version, altough is a 120 GB. honestly i dont know how can someone just have a 20 GB ps3, i mean you cant have many games installed at the same time not to mention videos and music, demos etc..that blows dude. buy a new hard drive

BTW after 60 pages in these forum i think people just should take a break from this, when the patch is out some developer will send here a message posting that the patch is out, and thats it, no more of this constant nonsense, every single complain here have already been repeated like 10 times so just quit it already.

i know it sucks not being able to play mass effect 2, i really now get it why the XBots always said "hey we have mass effect and that kicks Little Big Planets butt", because man ME2 is the real sh*** its awesome, and its bad that some cant play this and others didnt experience no problems like me, but really GUYS JUST WAIT FOR THE PATCH, YOU CANT GAIN NOTHING BY JUST SAYING THE SAME THINGS ALL OVER AGAIN. jeez its gonna be the last time i post something in here, cant stand all the beggers whinning.

i mean dont everybody know that you can return a product like this UNTILL15 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE? why didnt you guys just do that and then wait  for the patch to be announced and then buy the game again? a friend of mine did that and since the patch isnt out yet i borrowed him my game, and he completed the game with no problems whatsoever, he also did the workaround i told him so i really dont know why some people have problems with that.

There are different release dates for SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America) and SCE(E) (Sony Computer Entertainment (Europe) which covers the rest of the world). Was the same with the long-awaited FONV patch which came a cpl of hours earlier for everybody not living in the US.

Maybe it has something to do with that.

Don't be ignorant. I come from the 'Freezing' thread. Not your 'Corrupted Save' thread.
So as you may well know, I am having a LOT of freezing issues especially right at this moment with all the recommended techniques used and I am still getting stuck at the loading screen BEFORE even the 'Start' screen.

So I hope that you guys will show some respect to one another. You may have your own problems but others may have had far worst than you and you are just going to dismiss them because it didn't happen to you? That's a bit ignorant isn't it?

But yes. I rarely talk on this thread. Just observing to see whether it is released. But once in a blue moon, an ignorant passer-by posts an ignorant comment without even reading the rest of the thread first.

Just so you know Chris invited all of us from the different threads together in this one as this patch will fix quite a lot of the problems we are facing. So don't just assume all of us are having it easy like you but chose not to. It's because we actually can't play the game with the recommended set-ups.

As far as I know, the only way to get a patch is to start the game while connected to PSN.

you could like bring the console to a friend's house that has ethernet cable, make a psn account just for this game, download the patch and thats it?

mines definitely 3 since my voucher code doesnt work with my USA account, so does the back
