Nope. I just use my main Singapore PSN.
I use the other PSNs in case if my game is R1 and the voucher codes only work with the US PSN. After I download the game data, I'll just launch the game in my Singapore PSN.

I just wanted to download the patch and go to school, then when i arrived home i would play ME2 non stop.

geez.... i hate this! i just got in at work and checked this as a first thing and now i read the patch is out. dont get me wrong, i'm happy and all but damn! now i wana go home and DL the patch... this is gona bug me the whole day. hahaha wonder if i'm gona be able to do any work... hahaha i'm too excited!

PS: @ lilasn, thats genious! i dunno how to make a singapore account in indonesia though, i got no idea whats the address over there that i can use

As far as I know, the only way to get a patch is to start the game while connected to PSN.

That is true right now but hopefully by the time he gets home it will be.

yeah sniper, i just had to post something out of excitement.. i havent even read the latest 2 pages. hehehe but yeah.. now that i'v read it, it sucks that it wasnt released simultaneously. I live in chicago so i guess i'm still kinda considered east coast. XP that's region 3, right? hmm... hopefully by the time i get home it's already there. but come to think of it, since people been saying that SONY does their updates on tuesdays, maybe they'r waiting for tomorrow? it kinda coincides with that 24 hour thing they say...

Oohh is that a bug? I thought it was just the way the game was supposed to be...although coming to think of it does say your supposed carry over all your heavy weapons, which I didnt but oh well, I think the game crashing and corrupting saves trumps that to be honest.

Oh my! It actually works! I entered the European Game ID for Mass Effect 2 and it found the 1.01 update and I am downloading it now. Thank you! 
The file is 19.98MB by the way.
Don't know whether it is compatible with my region 3 though.

UPDATE: How do you then transfer this .pkg file to the PS3? Is it for Custom Firmware? Sorry. Any illegal stuffs like PS3 hacks are a no-no for me. =/
