I installed all the DLC but I haven't played Lair of the shadow broker yet or the other 1 but ive had no problems btw which ps3 are you playing on the thin console or fat ones?

I already delete the cerberus pack or DLC that comes with my  ME2 disc and start a new game which give me the access to the ME genesis or comic book. I install the patch and start a new game disable automatic login to EA servers and automatic save but I did that before and the problem continues, the hack freeze problem appears since I try to hack any machine (bypass for me works fine) but now I hack 3 in a row and no issue....  I will continue testing to check if appears again...If the source of my problem is this DLC is a shame not countibng that I want the Zaeed loyalty trophy . I'll keep you informed

It's over I hack again and freezes...I give up I won't play this game again until there is a concrete solution for this annoying problem hope someone in Bioware is reading this and solve this problem ASAP

 I just Finished Lair of the shadow Broker with No problems, just a few graphic glitches and some lag but nothing that was to Noticeable.I'm sorry your still having Problems Bro and I wish I could help you but I'm out of ideas Try contacting Bioware and tell them your problems.you should not have to miss out on this amazing game.good luck.

Well I got the platinum. It took me just under 60 hours. And thats one playthrough. Insanity was killing me. For anyone having issues, here are a few other suggestions.

(1).Get a new copy of the game. I have a friend who said it worked.
(2).Try using different squad mates. Has worked for me for several glitches.
(3).Buy an Xbox360 and play ME2. Just kidding.

Alright. I've done everything to avoid the crash/save error and i'm still getting it. Autosave disabled, no internet connection, i'm not ****ing playing for more than 1 hour and i'm still getting a LOT of crashes. Like WHAT THE ****?! I've bought this in brazil, and games get 70% taxed here, this results in expensive games. I just can't understand how Bioware released a game with such problems, this is something that really destroy any will of completing this game. First, when i had no idea of this problem i got a corrupted save in a 60+ hours played game - LIKE TOTALLY AWESOME RITE? And after waiting all this time for an update, **** isn't solved, LIKE WTF BIOWARE? ARE YOU KIDDING WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS?

That's it for me. Besides, after the patch i've been getting a lot of graphical bugs. Shepard disappear during conversations, NPCs flying around.

I'm just terrified by how such a big company released such a flawed product.

Yes i have the update installed. I tried deleting every data related to ME2. And i SHOULDN'T be doing this! Comeon!

i doubt this game will get any better for you if its really that bad, hell previous patch seems to have made it worst.

I traded mine for mvc3, trust me it worked like a charm. Not a single freeze since.

what the hell is this ****?!..I wait weeks for a patch to fix the corrupt save issue and now after installing the patch I get dialogue skipping I get cut scenes skipping I get the ****ing game freezing all over the place ..what the hell is going on here Bioware...you ask me to pay for this ****? I think you better pull your finger out ..this is not acceptable..if i had the money and lived the the US Id sue your ass for supplying me with what is in effect a faulty product..what prat(s) on metacritic gave this more than 80%? cozs it doenst deseve it!!..were you guys down the pub when you tested the so called patch??

Disconnect from the internet while playing the game and see if that helps.

Rockpopple, it does help, the game seems to run smoother when im not connected to the EA servers. Its alot easier if you just go to the options menu on the start up screen of ME2, go to the online settings and turn auto connect off.

That way you also dont have to wait that long ass time to connect to the server in the first place

I think this not totally bull.... for me that's not the issue, I see the lack of graphic and textures in overload missions but still can play well my issue is when I try to play the hack mini game the system freezes and I already done everything to try to solve it even playing totally offline and reinstall 3 times the game and patch but that doesn't work. So for now I'll wait until there is patch that fix ALL

Is the Locust smg suppose to start off with only 180 bullets total without the extra ammo upgrade or more than that

I tried disconnecting from the ea servers and again it doesn't work, I don't know what else to do. Very disappointed. It wouldn't be as bad if the game was **** but I really wanted to platinum this one. It freezes during the cut scene after you beat the omega 4 relay.

Well,this is my fifth gameplay and my game only crashed a few times,but other than that,the game runs smoothly..So I have no idea what you guys are complaining lol

I didn't had save problem, only))) these problems: dialogue cutting off early, out of sync audio, freezing time to time, aim glitch with hammerhead and of course can't play second time with all my upgraded weapon, bought body armor and paragon or renegade is empty too. PLEASE FIX IT!!!

So I played through the entire game with no problems aside from the out of sync audio. Occasionally the exploration music would not be active, but restarting my system fixed that problem. There was also a time where I went to load the game and my character was trapped in a glitch where I couldnt move and the only thing that happened was my crosshair resizing. Loading an alternate file fixed that. But recently I was about to cross over into the omega 4 relay but decided to check the shops on surrounding areas to make sure I didn't miss anything. Landed on Omega and there was new stuff in the shops. Heavy Skin weave lvl six, a sniper and shotgun damage upgrade. I purchased them, shepard made the usual this looks useful comment. But when I wen aboard the Normandy there was no option to research the stuff I had just purchased. The upgrades were in the review section to the right even though I hadnt researched them and the +60 % health was not applied!!!!!!! Shepards health remained unchanged!!!! Same with the weapon damage. When I went to go explore the music was once again absent, restarting the game or trying from a different save file has the same result!!!! Every time I purchase an upgrade I am unable to research and my music cuts out WTF. The game overall was great but I want my 65.24 back if this issue isnt resolved.

I install patch today. After install i play ME2 2h and then PS3 freez. But thats the first time that my PS3 freez.

The patch didn't fix the freezing problem completely. My game froze twice on my post-patch playthrough. The important thing is my saves didn't get corrupted. Having to do a hard restart on your PS3 really sucks though.
