FemHawke does nothing for me. Must be the lack of a beard.

I'm looking more forward to playing as femHawke than maleHawke though. It'll probably be like Mass Effect, the better voiceover is always female.

Well I know I don't like the male Hawke VO already. Way too soft. So that's not a tough bet.HyperLimited wrote...

Uh.....what? Femshep still owns.
Well, you've actually played as her, so there's that.
In any case, I think I might end up liking Lady Hawke more. I suppose she'll feel less second-place to ManHawke, is all.

Short hair => not attractive.
End of the story, get in the kitchen and make us some sandwiches FemHawke. I, my sister and a-random-guy-who-is-not-an-elf-or-dwarf-and-somehow-makes-a-good-addition-to-the-party-stats-wise need to rescue the world.
That is very insulting. There are soooooo many other ways to give your opinion without coming off like an arse.
There are plenty of female posters that possibly have short hair. That makes people (here it comes, the obvious) feel bad.

I had already decided on femhawke my first playthrough as it is and if it weren't for that stupid blood smear I might've picked default. But then again I hate going default pick because its funner to make your own.
As for those insulting her because she isn't super feminine.... what did you expect from the champion of Kirkwall? To run around in a dress and high heels? While that would be hot not very practical

Far as I know in DA:O the defaults, or presets, could be changed. Don't see why this should be different for DA2.

Default FemHawke looks a lot more femenin then many modern female super models, my opinion.

Also the Beard that Default MaleHawke gets is not available for the custom characters, there are beards, just not that particular beard. They decided on this in order to make default Hawke more special.

Yeah there seems to be some idea that just because she has all this power she isn't a woman anymore. *cleveland's voice* "Am I the only one who thinks power is sexy?"

There is a variant of the default without the blood smear.

I believe you can toggle off the blood smear. So you can have default with or without blood smear. At least thats what I read. A dev may have confirmed it, can't remember.

The character creation is like ME. Default or custom. But they have a lot of options now for customs. Females have 32 hairstyles and males have 36. (Probably cause a lot of people made very attractive hair mods ;D ) I will probably have my FemHawke with default blood smear the first playthrough. Gonna go ruthless. Then my good FemHawke I'll custom.
omg no ... why do they do that? That's so stupid to make a default and don't let people change small things. So I have to make a custom that looks like the default just without the bloodsmear ... great ...

LOL there is no way I can recreate it without Blood smear. I spent 2 hours on ME2 because it doesn't stick with how my imported Femshep looked and all I wanted to do was change one minor thing... couldn't do it and didn't want her to look too different from the first game so that was 2 hours wasted.

I'm very surprised that people can not agree on what they find attractive, people usually agree all the time.

I think you're confused. There are TWO versions of the default Hawke for both male and female. One set has the bloodsmear, the other doesn't have the bloodsmear. So you can be the default Hawke, without the bloodsmear, without trying to recreate the look in the customisation.
