- Hobbes: What are you doing?
- Calvin: Making a list of all the things that annoy me, like the dried on ketchup on the squeeze bottle. Hmm...what else?
- Hobbes: What about excessively negative people?
- Calvin: Good one... Hey!
OT: Mailbox flags half-heartedly flicked up or down. Finish the job, people.

For a lot of people it isnt so obvious!
- Smart phones
Phones are for texting and calling, not for internetting, photographing and what other things you can do with it... and even if you want to do such things, you can do it desently because it is a phone.. with a ridiciously small screen
- Mini laptops
The purpose of laptops is to have a moblile computer, compact, easy, yet still with desent capabilities and a good screen, with minilaptops ur screen is so small that it is completely useless..

You do realise most netbooks actually have a fairly average screen, right? They're perfect for what they're designed for - i.e. basic internet browsing and document processing.Kimosabe0 wrote...

Portable computing was much better in the days of the Osborne 1. If you liked your arms being lengthened, anyway.OnlyShallow89 wrote...

Everything under 10" is not usefull for me, screen is just annoying to look at and I can barely put my hands decently on the keyboard... (but this topic is called 'thing that bother you more than they should...')OnlyShallow89 wrote...

So why, exactly, do they bother you? They're clearly not aimed at you, so it'd be like saying the logo of a store you wouldn't even shop at annoys you because you've driven past it once a year or two ago.Kimosabe0 wrote...

Netbooks are a great invention.

I see them almost every day at the university, and they just bother me.. I cant get my head around the fact that someone would buy a netbook for the reasons I have already mentioned... Either buy a laptop or just take a pen and paper with you..OnlyShallow89 wrote...

On the other hand, the diminutive Psion Netbook was awesome, though it and today's netbooks have absolutely no connection other than the name being recycled. Such a shame Psion stopped making handy electronic gadgets.Kimosabe0 wrote...

Well, considering Netbooks are about half the price of laptops, about half the size and are rather functional, I think it makes quite a lot of sense.Kimosabe0 wrote...

Particularly fun when you have a Philips remote control with +10 sensitivity and +20 lag. I love Philips but their remote controls are frankly suck.SudsyPatriarch wrote...
When the volume on the TV is between the +5 options, like, 5-10-15-20 etc

All these new smartphone things, my friends all have these spiffed up phones with touchscreens and internets and such and are on it all the damn time. It annoys me a lot.
Seeing little kids with these phones. Why do they need them?
People who walk really slowly in shopping centers, and take up all the space with trolleys and prams and everything.
And the city. Because I have to go there today. *sighs*

Ok, that's not 100% true. When I'm a little annoyed by something, and I tell people to stop it, they egg me on, and I usually end up flying off the handle, threatening to beat the crap out of them, etc. But then again...people that are ****s for the sake of being ****s deserve to be punched in the face.
Oh, and when I leave space for a car to merge, because I know he's going to...but he doesn't take the chance, and instead FORCES his way in front of me another 100 yards down the road. I should be well within my rights to smash in their headlights...or at least slash their tires.

Not just shopping centres - everywhere! It's so annoying to walk behind people who suddenly stop or get in your way, and when you have to skirt around 'em they look at you as if you're devilspawn or something.Nyltia wrote...

Forgot to mention, really crowded buses (or other forms of transportation) or when people sit next to you even though there's plenty of other seats.
Also, crabby bus drivers.
