Provided theyre safe and sound shouldnt they be greatful.....
Either way i dont see why theres a Krogan monument on the presidium (all they did was kill some Rachni) while Shepard gets B**** Slapped everytime he makes a discovery as to Saren's/Collector's/Sovereign's/Reaper plans.

Wheres Sheps monument?! He/She only saved every1 in existance,
ingrates....  :pinched:

another day in paradise ^_^

All they did was destroy rachnii...it was almost certain that the other races would lose untill the krogan defeted them.

Altho ya there should be a human mounumat for saving the citadel.

the krogan statue was hiding the mini mass effect relay that saren and his geth were able to use to enter the citadel undetected in ME1.

Pretty sure the mass relay statue was the mass relay that saren and his geth were able to use to enter the citadel undetected in ME1.

:):)
then Turians should have a monument for conducting the genophage that controlled the Krogan - who also would have defeated all who stood against them

You gotta admit, though. It would have been pretty awesome had it been the Krogan statue. :D

Garrus: "Shepard, did we just fly out of a Krogan's a---"
Shepard: "I dont' want to talk about it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go over here and throw up a little."

my bad. thought the relay they came through looked like it was in the same place in the water that the Krogan statue was always in.

No. The Krogan Statue is the alleged "Krogan Relay" a mass relay going OUT of the Citadel, as opposed to the Conduit, which goes IN.

No, the Krogan Statue is a mech Wrex will jump into near the end of ME3 and use it to punch Harbinger in the throat.

I regret being the good guy i was and saved the ungrateful Council. The phrase "No good deed goes unpunished" takes new meaning in Mass Effect. I sorta hope we have an option to let them die again in Mass Effect 3

I would still save them.
I can't dismiss my feelings for the Turian Councilor.

Going back on topic - it always bugged the crap out of me, when the asari council member could simply do the freaky dark eternity thing and get the bigger picture... but instead would follow that retarded turian - they must be boinking each other.

They've been busy rebuilding the place, more important than putting up statues.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong but wasn't the statue put up there to honor Krogan sacrifices against the Rachni? Humanity saving the Citadel from "the Geth Flagship" was impressive but they didn't exactly pay the same price that the Krogan did in the Rachni Wars.

This. The Council does not hate Humanity, they are one of many to be served. Let's be glad the Council is not like a totalitarian government. If they were though, they would have been dead long ago.

This is JUST A THEORY but...what if the council has been working with the Reapers the entire time? What if the council agreed to throw humanity to the wolves in order to save everyone else. Let us not forget the analogy that Ashley Williams made in ME1 about the bear and the dog. It is my hypothesis that all three council members in some form or another have blood on their hands.

You'll recall from ME1 the Turian council member telling Shepard that Saren was manipulating him and that Saren still had "contacts" on the Citadel. What if the "contact" was in fact the turian council member? Hmm.

As for the Salarian....those of us that completed EVERY mission from ME1 knows that there was a Salarian group called "The League of One." We also learned that there were 13 members and that the 13th member was never found. My theory is that the Salarian council member IS the 13th member and he sacrificed the other 12 as a means to gain his position.

I don't really have anything on the Asari counselor right now but, I will keep researching until I find something......I'm certain that she is as corrupt as the rest.....probably more.

By the way, does anyone know which of them is "Counselor Ballard?" I recall Emily Wong mentioning in one her news vids that "Counselor Ballard" didn't want to get involved in a human affair.
