DLC Won't Install or Authorize
FYI... Patience helps here. Some people have reported long lag times when their UE DLC is first authorized. This may happen when you have previous character data added to the game-- at the same time the DLC is authorizing, the character saves may be updated to the social site.
Steam users seem to have a particular time with DLC authorization. Here's one suggest fix, pulled in part from the Steam forums:

Some users appear to have issues involving the background service that authorizes DLC content. This can be edited manually:

Some folks report they are unable to locate or did not receive the code to activate UE DLC (which is different than the game's key) - short answer... contact EA directly about this known issue and they'll sort it out - support.ea.com or help.dragonage.com.

We've seen a couple users online lately running Windows Vista with only SP1 installed. SP2 may help game stability. http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/5845507

These are just a few choice threads, but there are many more which can help new and old users alike. Basics on reporting problems and common issues are stuck at the top of the Forum. Search is valuable-- if you don't find success with the site's own search function (and many don't), consider using Gorath Alpha's suggestion of redirecting Google-- site:social.bioware.com your search term
