This is well known, and is the preferred method of using the Claymore. Incidentally, if you let your video play through to the end, the "next up" entry is titled "Claymore Fast Reload"

yeah but I haven't seen ppl do it with other weapons than the Claymore so...



and my method is a bit different

How is that any different from the classic reload cancel/trick that is known since February 2010? You press melee/power when you hear the "click" - it's the same for all weapons. I love this feature.

no, it is based on the animation. You can save much more time (milliseconds) if you time it right - shepard's arm starts gripping a bit, rather than wait for the "click"

and I just post this because I haven't seen those in insanity runs aside from the Claymore
