 So I can't seem to make any new modules, and I refuse to tamper with anything any further until I can get at least one "test" module made to mess with. Is there any reason for this to occur?

This is a step-by-step that happens;

Load up Toolset
Manage Modules
New Module
Change Name to "Test"
Change UID to "test"
Click Ok
"Unable to save module"

I am using the Steam version of DA if that might help figure out what's going on, I know it causes problems with the MSSQL2K5 installation but I'm not sure if there are any other issues involving it.

We have never encountered this issue with our internal testing. Really don't even know what would be causing this. Any of you that are having this issues, would you please do the following so that we can take a look at what is going on and see if we can find any clues.

1. Go to My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Toolset\\logs\\ and delete all of the log files that exist in there. (We want a clean slate to look at)

2. Open the toolset and do your steps to try and create a new module (i.e. recreate the problem)

3. Go back to My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Toolset\\logs\\. Zip up all the log files found in there.

4. Send an email to toolsetsupport@bioware.com with the following subject line: Unable to Save Module. Attention Allan Smith. Attach the zipped up log files to the email along with any other description or comments that you think might be helpful.

I will take a look at the logs that are being created and see if they give us any clues into this issue.

Can anyone who is having this problem chime in and let me know what language their windows operating system is running? I suspect this may be the issue, but need some data to back up the suspicion.

Thanks

@VenetianLunacy
Thanks for the tip. We had seen other manifestations of the username giving us trouble with SQL, but I had not made the connection to this particular problem. Will post this information on the wiki (if it is not there already)
If this solution does not solve the problem for anybody, please speak up so we can chase down any other causes.
