I thought I would start a random funny occurance thread, not for things that are supposed to happen should you trigger the correct dialogue or event. I mean random things you didn't intend to happen.

For instance: yesterday I started a City Elf Rogue female. She donned the Soris clothing which turned into a lovely red and green dress (if you like that sort of colour combination). As I find these early stages do not require much armour I was happy to parade around in the dress until Ostagar.  What I didn't realise was that it was quest/character specific and my PC ended up travelling to Ostagar with Duncan in only her undies.

The King was very impressed.

Well, it was more of a glich, but it was still funny. My PC went to equip a bow, but for some reason it didn't trigger, so there she was shooting arrows (quite effectively, mind you) from thin air. The arrow animation triggered, but not the bow. It looked really weird!

I was traveling through some special ruins in the caves beneath Orzammar, and had to quick pause the game without looking. When I came back, I actually screamed at the picture of my character's head about to get chewed off by a Shriek, though when I unpaused, it just vanished and the battle was over.



Another incident that happened was my character walked into a fire trap that she couldn't sense, being a mage. She fell on her back, and lay there for the rest of the time spent in that area. I could move her, but she just lay on her back and zoomed around.

I love it when I swap my bow for my dagger but the switch doesn't happen and she starts stabbing with her bow.

Hehhe love the zooming on your back and stabbing with the bow.



I once switched from mouse form to character but it didn't happen properly and I took on a very nasty demon as a wee mouse and bashed his brains in.

I've actually had it several times where my Rogue or Warrior character drops down into the battle-ready crouch, but don't straighten up again after the battle is over, and then awkwardly shuffle around like a constipated crab.

Every once in a while Wynne gets stuck with her right arm bent at the elbow. She wanders around casting spells, talking, etc with her right arm akimbo. Very funny looking, especially when she's mad at you and she's pointing her finger at your belly button.
