They did make a dynamic theme apparently, but it froze after 30 seconds and corrupted the firmware :-) (just kidding)

This is a good idea! However, for now, why don't you get a Mass Effect 2 picture off of the internet and transfer it to the PS3 so you can replace the current background? (If you happen to have ME or ME 2 for the PC, the screenshots work well too as backgrounds!)

Yeah that'd be nice, doesn't the 360 have something similar? Am sure I read somewhere they have one based on 'Afterlife'. Also avatar pics would be cool as well.
What I think would be even cooler is if they had an area in PS Home, maybe even based on 'Afterlife' with some ME2 costumes available to buy like the N7 Armor.

The 360 theme is awesome, people on your friends list appear in front of heavy mechs or elcorr or something, it'd be awesome if we can have something similar on the playstation also.

Some avatars and maybe a few items on PS Home would be cool as well. Imagine a Normandy SR2 on Home, that would be really cool... Actually Omega would be better... with the dude calling people "Blight" in the lower deck,also there's the stores where we could buy stuff ME related (plus if we pull a renegade/paragon talk on the vendor we could get a discount

I think if you use the PS3 web browser to search for some ME related pics, save them to the HDD, you can than select them as background wallpaper just like on pc, still... some official dynamic options would be nicer! I was wandering if someone at BioWare would have stopped by to post something here... I think they'll definetly do something, can't wait for avatars though, a N7 one like someone above posted would be really cool.

Agreed, I believe me1 had something similar, if you beat the game on hardcore you could have a Saren avatar.
