Devs are limited by the hardware, what a lot of people seem to forget or don't know about is that a complex scene can involve many different textures, the choice becomes high number of textures at low quality or low number of textures at high quality, I'm over simplifying this, but suffice to say that console hardware needs to play catch up.The Masked Rog wrote...
They said they have included DX11 which is PC only. What effort did they invest in PS3 or XBOX360 only graphics? Zero. So PC once again will ahve the upper hand. The lead SKU is PC, we will get a sloppy port.

DA2 has been developed in parallel on all three platforms. Nobody's getting a "sloppy port".
Specific improvements for the console, from the gameplay team ('cause that's what I know):
- Press-A-to-attack makes it easier to retarget on the fly. Console autotargeting target selection logic has been improved. Auto-attack is still available if you prefer.
- Radial menu has better, more consistent behavior for issuing multiple orders.
- Radial move-to-point command added. No more driving characters into position while the rest of your team gets shot at or beaten on.
That's off the top of my head. Many improvements aren't specific to the console UI but improve console gameplay nonetheless.

Not true the most time it's the other way around. Should I start to name all the console-Games that were badly ported to PC??The Masked Rog wrote...
I don't know why but the consoles always get the shaft when compared to PCs.
Yeah do you know why? Because the PC has much higher ressources than any 6year old consol has.The Masked Rog wrote...
Development happens on the PC, then it is badly ported to consoles. Well, I don't think your fanbase is willing to have that anymore. DA2 is shaping just to be like DA:O, PC getting better graphics (DX11), a different camera, etc...
Just to mention: The biggest profit in the US for example is by the console games, so I'm sure that in case you won't buy it because you think Bioware is doing a sloppy job nobody at EA would even notice because there are enough other players that will buy the game for console. The Masked Rog wrote...
I urge BioWare to reconsider, unless you want to see the PS3 sales plummeting. The PS3 players have been the developer's sheeple for too long. We demand that this abominable practice of porting everything badly from the PC to PS3 be stopped, and games actually be developed with PS3 in mind.

Umm.....okay....how to break this......PS3 don't have no "A" button. We have an "X" button.
Epic fail on Biowares part.

He didn't say "improvement for PS3", he said "improvement for console". Most of the people know that in DAO the A and the X have the same function, so I don't see the problem.

Since this thread is about PS3, he should be talking about PS3 controls as well. It doesn't help if Seb is reasuring the PS3 crowd that it wont be "some port" if he refers to Xbox controls. Sounds like he doesn't know what hes talking about when it comes to PS3.
Not that i agree with OP. PS3 version (DAO) is same on par with xbox, i dont think it has any problems, OP is graphics wh0re.
^^ this. The games are pretty equal, the only things differing is just the controls really and maybe a few glitches. Maybe the PC versions are superior. But alot of you are making other console owners look bad with the constant nagging.efrgfhnm wrote...
