Was doing Thane's Loyalty mission this morning and for me this is the first time it happened. When I get to the 800 block and start following the turian and his krogan...forgetting the name for now, when it says press A to update Thane I did. First time worked, 2nd and 3rd time nothing happened. The option disappaeared and usually Shepard says something each time. Said nothing. Didn't even get through the doors at the end and Kolyat assassinated the mark. I did run though it again and finished the mission saving the turian. Wait to push the A button to say I was still on him and everything went smoothly. Not sure whether to consider this a bug or just really bad timing that I was so quick to press A when prompted.

I've noticed that if you do update Thane too quickly then the audio does seem to be cut ending with Shepard not saying anything (even though Thane speaks as if s/he had just spoken).
The option to update Thane disappearing altogether sounds like a bug to me, but I've never experienced that myself.
