Agreed on the "beam me in" ambushes and the sheer amount of loot vs. limited storage. Loot and how to deal with it cost me hours of gameplay I'd rather spend with the storyline.
Some fights have been lenghty and parts of, e.g. the deep roads would've been better with a little less and more varied encounters. I've found the deep... whatever that vernim was called... simply annoying.
Leliana, an otherwise absolutely adorable character, almost ruined all her credibility with one performance... a matter of taste, maybe, it made me cringe and cower in pain.
Oh, and animals dropping chainmails or weapons is totally wrong.
Other than that, wonderful game.
I'm into the Deep Roads section now chasing down the Paragon. Going through
the place I think is called Caradins Cross I started getting 'beam me
in Scotty' ambushes by large groups of Deepstalkers about 4 times in a row. That right
there is really boring, uninspired, repetative combat. Poor attention to pacing on the part of the level designer in my opinion, guess it must have been a Friday and they were burnt out due to crunch time when that was designed
