Don't really mind that we're done with the Warden but I will miss Ferelden and all of its characters.

Nope. And I love my Wardens. Would I mind if there was more stuff on them in the future? Nope - if it's good, I wouldn't mind a return. But I also have no issue if we never go back to our Wardens again. Dragon Age is about... Well, the Dragon Age. I'm more excited to play different people and seeing how they all shape the world in their own way.

I don't mind, though I'd love to have some closure on his/her story.
I agree with this, I was pretty pissed off at the end of Origins because of the lack of closure on my wardens story, not feeling that anymore but still think the ending was poor.
Now, I am really looking forward to DA2 and hope that the endings provide better closure on the story... if not I'll be very disappointed.

Dont mind.
Although I disliked how the warden's story went out not with a bang but with a wimper.
Most of their stories ended in Origins with them running off with either Leliana or Zevran.
Off to see the world.
They have their happy endings and I dont want them dragged into anything more.

Ahhhh...Ol' Avaenia Amell. I grew quite attached to her, yes, and I am sad that her epic tale is over, but Avaenia deserves some peace. She went through a lot and she should just be able to live a more normal life. So, although I am sad for this ending of her story, she got a good amount of content and now it is Hawke's turn to become super important.
Plus, Hawke looks awesome. And as a bonus, my first Hawke play through will have a tie to my first and favorite warden import, Avaenia Amell.

I raged pretty hard about it at first, but at this point I'm more or less resigned to it. Witch Hunt helped a bit on that front.
However, I still don't like how Awakening+WH basically ripped open a storyline that WAS in most fashions closed and threw out a whole bunch of "But wait, there's more! The story isn't over!"

The Warden in DA:O was just a mute cardboard cutout.
Glad to move on.

I'll miss my Warden(s), but I have no problem with moving on to new characters and new adventures.
I enjoyed playing with my Warden through Origins, Awakening and GoA, and Witc Hunt let me deal with the only loose end I had by reuniting my Warden with Morrigan.
So yes, I'm looking forward to playing as Hawke in DA2.

I want level 35 to 60 my warden flying into the black city kicking planetars in the balls and becoming NEW.. GOD.. OF MURDER!
But I will be just happy with DA3 playing as his child.

No. He went above and beyond his Grey Warden duty, ended the Blight, killed the Archdemon and became the Hero of Ferelden. He will probably go into the deep roads for his Calling and never be seen again but his deeds have been recorded in Thaedas' history. Also, he had a child with Morrigan Witch of the Wilds. I believe we will know his child's fate at some point. Then there's that book...

I think that most people are embracing the role of Hawke now.otherarrow wrote...
No, I don't mind. But people were really bothered by it when Hawke was first announced, where are these people now? Changed their minds? Fled the forum? Not entered the thread yet?
.
To be honest I grew attached to my wardens, i liked the companions and there would have been more potential for them if it was not for the 30 years thing.

My Warden has done his job. The Blight was ended, the arch-demon was killed, my Warden got to romance a few beautiful women and Ferelden got a new ruler. That is really all my Warden could ever dream of accomplishing. I'm actually really glad that we aren't continuing the Grey Warden's story. I wouldn't want the entire Dragon Age franchise to just be about the Grey Wardens. I say bring on the era of Hawke!

The whole purpose of a Grey Warden is to battle the darkspawn and after fighting and defeating the Arch Demon and ending the blight, I don't really see where we can go without making it anticlimatic or out of character for a Warden. I'm glad the Warden's story is over and we can continue to experience more of Thedas, learn more about the Dragon Age Universe and experience new stories.
It worked so well with almost every other game, so why not now? I do however want to hear more about the warden and in the future maybe play a game with him or his "offspring", but right now isn't the time.

I get when people say awakening and WH just left a "NOT OVER!" at the end but is that actually such a bad thing? This make your wardens story go on, like they are an actual person who keeps living and moving on.

Meh. Lightweight, yeah. I find myself getting attached to characters, but it'll pass as soon as DA2's booting up, so...I can live with it, lol.

I will miss my many wardens but not playing as them, unless there's another DA game set in The Anderfels where I'd love to see a cameo of any sort *hint*statue and codex*hint* but don't mind their stories being over.
For now I'll just enjoy playing as Hawke and who knows If we'll play as the old god baby in DA3 or 4
edit: typo

No, I don't mind. I like the idea of starting out fresh with DA2. If I want to revisit my warden, I'll write/read fanfiction.

After being given Awakening....
Yes, I'm glad that my Warden may rest in peace.
