I think the infodrip will increase in February. Mike Laidlaw hinted in the interview thread that more info would be coming, "especially in February".



I'm not really upset that it's been a light drip though; less spoilers that way.

I think part of it is the window, we had lots more info a month before DAO release, but that game was in development for multiple years.

Since 2005. like SWTOR. but SWTOR is not released yet 

And this one is Pre-ordered too since Day one  And I have a October 2008 Account on the official forum

Well people didn't know what DA:O was about. But DA2 is just the sequel so you can assume people already have an idea.

Well w/ that logic then Mass Effect 2 should have not have had the awesome marketing campaign as it did. But it did, so why not follow that example in popular sequels in marketing? We dont know.

It will be funny when it is March first and there has been no real new info and people will be saying well one week to go...time to ramp up the marketing...and then someone from bioware will make a smart ass comment implying that we are overreacting...nothing of course will be released except the game itself a week later then a week after that Merill will be revealed as one of the companions...

I'm afraid they have already tipped their hands in showing the kind of marketing they are probably going for, letting DA:O's popularity speak for itself and not waste money on much marketing at all. Thats my take on it,  I hope i'm wrong though.

I think they should at least post links to their blog and interviews as well as reviews/previews on the main dragon age 2 site's homepage

Totally agree. I also predict that their 'actual gameplay' trailer will be a demo, so there will be 'actual' gameplay.

I mean, we only have 1 "official" gameplay video.  And, outside of print/online magazines, where's all the marketing?

Where's the TV and online trailer ads?

How come we haven't seen any more real gameplay in action.

By this time in ME2's launch, we already had gameplay trailers for the classes as well as trailers for the companions..............

Do you think come February, Bioware will open up the floodgates and let loose the marketing campaign for this game?

I really hope so.

We've already gotten Marylin Manson to do all voice overs and sound effects for every character in game.  In fact, our next trailer will include 3 of his tracks playing at the same time (layered on top of eachother!)
