Ive been playing games for a long time, and pre-rendered mini movies seem to be the norm for marketing games so relax and take a joke.

Actually the music that would make the game utterly transcendent would be kpop like SHINee or Girls Generation. What could be better?

When DAO was released, Discovery Channel bombarded me with the Sacred Ashes Trailer. Literally.
Every two commercials you'd see that trailer at least once.

I hope they don't pull that trick again. xD

I expect we will see some TV marketing the last week of Feb. As I recall, ME2 stuff didn't show up until them but was on ESPN a LOT that last week.



They are going to market where the most attractive demo is, so ESPN, Spike, SyFy etc. Of course, we may not want to admit it but guns (even space guns) play better with the ESPN crowd than swords.



The point of marketing though is to inform those who have NOT yet made a purchasing decision. Folks who go to IGN, Gamespot, etc every day know about DA2 and have probably mostly made their minds up.



Remember, every dollar DA2 spends on marketing is a dollar it has to make back in sales to be considered a success.

Second, yeah, show us some damn gameplay footage. I have the game pre-ordered but i will honestly cancel if nothing more is shown.. I have a lot of faith in Bioware, more than most people here, but not THAT much... I want to know what it is i'm actually buying.
