I have to admit...

(1) I bought #1 solely to fix Garrus' armor. The other two got gypped.
(2) I'd probably have bought a couple more if they had Shepard Barbie stuff too (new player outfits).

This one is probably just a test run of the PS3 DLC system, though.

To think that the bridging DLC would be released so soon after the PS3 version seems a bit naive and to actually think BioWare would be referring to an AA pack as a major bridging DLC does not do the Biowarians credit imho.



Just look at it this way, BioWare has been spending the last couple of months finishing the engine for ME3 and preparing an enormous beta test for it in the form of the PS3 release of ME2. A beta test which actually generates additional revenue for an older game as well.



I don't hink we should expect the briding DLC for some time, at least until the game has settled in on the PS3. Just be happy they started churning out content again now that the PS3 release has been finished.

i'd consider buying it for the next DLC, if it's decent, but even given almost-continuous playing since launch, the game's been out a year now - this should have been done last year to have an appreciable effect (for non-ps3 owners).

I'm replaying the ME2 again, so new good-looking outfits may come in handy.

And, seconding to Admiral, Phoenix armour for entire squad will be an instant buy

Don't forget though, that this is the same bioware that said that Mass Effect 1 was going to have a shed load of bridging DLC too, and that the second piece of DLC was going to be awsome and substantial, now fair enough, I can forgive them the lack of ME1 bridging DLC as they were bought out by a rival publisher, but Pinnacle station was neither awsome nor substantial. And isn't it also the same Bioware that said that Dragon Age was going to have DLC for the next couple of years then turned around and said, nope sorry that's all you're getting?

I used to love Bioware for their dedication to the games and their work ethics, but the last few years they have gone down in my estimation and these days I only believe what they say about stuff when I have the product in front of me.

Was that a bit harsh, probably, but i'm in a crappy mood and that's how I feel.

Pretty much this. Since the only thing I considered to be a blatant "flaw" in ME2 uniforms got fixed with pack 1, I think the requirements for pack 2 are set pretty high.

Oh, who am I kidding, I'll buy it anyway, but I'd like it to be something really cool.

Awesome! I hope we get a catsuity thing our Infiltrator Sheps can wear in the field. I always felt like a bit of a wuss under all that armour plating, when everyone else was swanning around in their shirtsleeves.

Am I the only one bothered that Mass Effect 2 shipped with a ridiculously limited (that is, nonexistent) customization for squad member only so that such money-grabber DLC could be sold? Horse armor doesn't hold a candle to this... I'm almost expecting Mass Effect 3 to feature everyone in underwear and have every single piece of armor to be DLC-only.



Maybe I shouldn't give EA ideas...
