Then when someone counter saying Garrus is illogical in himself for never repairing the armor even when getting a altered version of it is to be a picky ******.
Also, Jack and one of the casual outfits of Shepards fits better in bloody damn Mad Max. Have fun guys with your appearances.

They can't just throw away everything they do for free, you know.

Also, buying it used, is atleast better then pirating it. Some appearance packs won't make Bioware go bankrupt, it although will make people happy if it was free. Its not really anything that is a big boom, epic propotional changer to the games story like Lair of the Shadow Broker who been costing voice actors.

Well, read what I said. Overlord and similar should cost.

Nothing's wrong with Miranda's outfit, save for the part that I don't like it. I don't have a problem spending two dollars on something so that a small part of a videogame will appeal better to my personal tastes. Frankly, a lot of people have been hoping for more stupid DLC like this, me being one of them, because we like it when Bioware throws us a little treat every once in a while. So they charge money for it, so what? It's not like it's vital to gameplay or anything.Winterfly wrote...
Well, you people have fun paying for this junk. Let them make a ton on this nonsense so they rather focus on giving people fan service cause they cry that Miranda dont have proper clothing and how illogical it is.
I don't have a problem with Garrus not fixing his armor. I can see why people would think you're a ******, though, no offense. Seriously, you're acting like everything they ever add to the game has to be super-important, content-bridging, three-and-a-half hour premium DLC. There's nothing wrong with indulging in a little frivolity every now and then. Then when someone counter saying Garrus is illogical in himself for never repairing the armor even when getting a altered version of it is to be a picky ******.
You're right, lol. Hence I always put Jack in her DLC outfit and put the formal suit on ManShep. So I paid for both, who cares? I don't regret it or anything. Also, Jack and one of the casual outfits of Shepards fits better in bloody damn Mad Max. Have fun guys with your appearances.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who ever does anything for the lulz anymore.

Last time I checked you dont repaint a freaking broken wall, you do try to fill in the holes.
You're right. You typically don't repaint a broken wall. You fix the wall and then repaint it. But your argument is akin to saying that painting the wall automatically fixes it.
Garrus is not fixing his armor. For all we know, he's not able to fix his armor. Short of going out and buying an entirely new suit, he has to make due with what he's got, even if it's not ideal. If that means slapping some paint on a damaged suit of armor without patching the bullet holes, then so be it. None of that makes his character ubelievable or prevents roleplaying, nor is it wildly illogical or nonsensical.

To a developer, there is no difference between you pirating their game or buying it used; they literally don't see one dime either way. And neither, I could say, will a $2 Appearance Pack cause you to go backrupt.
So what else is there to your argument aside from you simply not wanting to pay for goods and services?

The unlockable outfits clearly are supposed to exist in addition to the originals, as opposed to being modified versions of the default attire.
I don't agree with anything else that Winterfly has said, but i don't feel that it's unreasonable to expect Garrus' unlockable outfit to be fixed.

Are we to assume that Thane simply painted his original outfit? What about Jacob, or Miranda?

No, but then that can fall back on the "alternate universe" idea from earlier. If you choose to look at it like they're putting on a separate additional article of clothing, then it might seem odd that Garrus' "new" armor is damaged just like his "old" armor was.
If, however, you subscribe to the '"alternate universe" perspective, changing Garrus into his loyalty coloring simply retcons that he was ever in his original armor. As far as the game is concerned, it's simply an alternate possible coloring of the same suit of armor, and the reason the alternate coloring is just as damaged as the original coloring is because he was wearing it either way.

And if you bought the game used, you probably paid $40 or less for it, so that extra $20 puts you back at the base cost of a retail game.
Don't like it? Then give the developers your money instead of giving it to GameStop.
No, buy it used and the codes may very well already be used.
You want people to be punished for buying a game used?
ok i once held this point of view about people being punished for buying games used. i went as far as writing a seven page paper for my english class about this. but i learned something through my research and my views on the matter have switched.
if you are not a troll and wish to educate yourself here is my paper:

It looks like:
- Miranda in light Cerberus armor with a Shepard-esque visor
- Tali in some sort of tan/white and black outfit
- Grunt in blue/black armor with some silly looking head gear

Thank God I love Miri and Grunt's alt armors. Tali's is good too, but its too similar to her regular one.

I can't check the previous few pages to see if this has been posted, but you can get a look at Alt. Appearance Pack 2 on the Japanese Xbox Marketplace. I don't think it's been released on there though but the images for all the ME2 DLC seem to use the image for it.

Can you give us a link or a picture? I think many of us would be grateful and revere you as our local and temporary hero.

Oh I love the gold tones. It has the techno-gipsy-from-space looks that matches her character.

I'm actually the exact opposite.
Miranda has armor (yay) but it looks to be all black and I don't like that on her. I wish it was white and black like her standard look.
Tali always looks best in purple, and it's one of my favorite colors. Beyond that it just looks like a plain recolor (not so yay).
Grunt's armor is the only one that looks like it might be a bit of an improvement; kind of a gunmetal grey with some war paint instead of his plain white/silver. And I actually think the headgear looks kinda cool.
