Miranda with ACTUAL ARMOR THANK GOD!
And Tali with just a re-skin... disappointing
But we need body shots for a full judgement

Grunts armour looks really creative too. I get the feeling they didn't have a clue what to do next so just recoloured Tali a bit.

Hey, don't assume Yannkee is representative for us. I've seen almost exclusively appreciative comments about Miranda's new armor, and while I reserve judgment on the execution until I've seen it, I *love* that she's now got one and can walk around in a firefight without looking ridiculous.MadCat221 wrote...
Miri will actually have a bonafide hardsuit now? 1 squaddie down, 9 to go. As someone mentioned earlier, Jack is the most egregious transgressor.
The Mirimancers can have their bouyant and elevated forward tanks and the bubble butt... I just don't wanna see her parading about a firefight in a bloody futuristic office suit that cruises for a sexual harassment allegation. She's a good Mario, but it really jars the suspension of disbelief to see her in the default outfit in a shootout.
No squaddie has a true full hardsuit except Garrus and Tali. Not even Grunt has one, his upper arms are still exposed. Can anyone tell if Grunt's new outfit has that fixed?

A helmet instead of the breathing mask is probably too much to hope for, for technical reasons. They'd have to clip her hair when she's wearing a helmet, and I doubt that's easy.Terror_K wrote...
Mixed feelings. Good to see some proper armour for Miranda, but will it also come with a proper helmet too?
I never really saw Tali as somebody who needed an alt costume to be honest, but it doesn't look too bad from what we can see of it.
My main issue is these silly visors, shades and headgear these alt appearances seem to have. I'm not a big fan of them and think they just look stupid, so I at least hope that when they release we can have the option of with or without.
As for the visors, I've always missed some kind of tactical HUD. If people wore helmets, that would be no problem, but if not the visors can double as such. Only on the picture it doesn't look so good. Again I'll reserve judgment until I see it in better detail.

If I had my way I'd replace Grunt with Jacob and give him something similar to his galaxy armor.
Probably won't, since his romance involves taking his "shirt" off.

I really hope that the armour for Miranda isn't a sign of things to come in Mass Effeft 3, in regards to squad outfits.

They could simply have it like Miranda's romance scene where the LI switches to their default attire.TMA LIVE wrote...

The appearnce pack looks ok, not bad. People asked for a Miranda armour they got one. Tali, I don't know what they can really do with her outfit. I guess their scared of messing with Tali too much, lest a mob of Talimancer rush Bioware HQ. Would rather have had an alternate outfit for Samara or a fixed hole for LEgion, who cares how Grunt looks like?

And NPCs commented on Miranda's outfit looking like a catsuit.TMA LIVE wrote...

Miranda automatically changes to her default in her romance scene. They could do the same for Jacob.

They have said there will be more (most likely just the one more) story bridging DLC.
This is just some small stuff for the people who want it.
Relax man.

Miranda needed to cover up on missions anyway. This isn't "Bimbos In Space", it's Mass Effect.

Even then i was under the impression they were making bridging content so this a serious let down in my book....nice job BW. never thought i'd see the day i actually started to think you were caving to EA policies of releasing pointless filler content to soak up money. But alas it has come my faith has finally been shaken perhaps this truly is the begining of the end....Repent Repent! for the End is Nigh.
But now seriously i would take this as a good sign to begin excersizing some caution with BW. look at what EA has done to so many other good game series so far. And if this really is BWs idea of "Bridging ME 2 - ME 3:" now this is certaintly a very good time to consider is it really worth 5 bucks to be able to play barbie with the computer characters.

I agree. And now we have six characters with alt-appearances. That's half the team. They may all end up with alt-appearances before ME3 comes out. It's nothing to get worked up over unless you are wanting them and can't wait  Anyway, we'll still get our bridging DLC. We'll know when, when CDN cranks up one week before it's release.

This is certainly not the bridging DLC. CDN would have started up again if it was. I am as impatient for a story DLC as you are, but this pack is better than nothing.

Yeah, I don't plan to buy it...but I don't blame Bioware for making it available. Doesn't mean that they're abandoning plans for at least one more story DLC.
I'm still waiting for them to make the Kestral armor available without the other item I already had. I cannot justify paying for collector's edition or preorder items I already got for free, even if it's just a few dollars. Please Bioware, think of the cheap people.
