that is a much better example. Now there are several terribly bad aspects:
1) no substance is added
2) you loose money
3)you become addicted and loose more money
4)for the quality of what your supplier supplies decreases because he knows yo9u'll buy it
5) you loose more money on ****
6) finally you die from OD in this case you quite BWs fanbase.
1) Miranda finally gets her ass covered. This allows me to use her as a squadmate without getting a permanent facepalm mark on my face. For me, it's substance.
2) I lose two bucks Bioware can (hopefully) use to make ME3 better.
3) At the rate they're currently releasing the DLC, I won't go bankrupt any time soon.
4) The only case the quality of the game is guaranteed to drop is EA cuts ME3 funding.
5) It's a bloody $2 DLC. Take it as me showing that I'm still interested enough in Mass Effect to spend money on it.
6) EA can invest more heavily into ME3 knowing that there is still interest. Unless they collapse before it's out, but not buying the DLC sure isn't going to help with that.
In the current economy, they're trying to make money however they can. It all comes down to, are you willing to show support or are you going to go on about how they should make everything excellent from the start and give out extras for free.
2 dollars eventually adds up, Chances are you're like the majority of us who have bought most of the DLC and the game on release only to have the price of ME 3 drop from 50 bucks to 30 and 40 respectively for it's editions. how much money have you really spent on the game? and while it is relatively small compared to your likely income. You aren't understanding the reprucussions it can have. You must remember UNtil 2007 EA has destroyed every game Company it's bought due to it's marketing habits. And this new surplus of DLC that adds nearly nothing to game, nothing modders couldn't do anyway, should not be rewarded with cash monzies or digital monzies. and so far if you are like the majority of the rest of us. this game has costed you roughly $USD 70 so far
You can keep defending the pointeless release of mod quality costumes but you and i both know that 2 dollars aint going to ME 3 maybe 50 cents is. but it's going to EA mostly that's for sure.
EDIT: i'm not sayign it's the devil just time to start being warry of your purchases. why support a ship that shows signs of sinking.
