that is a much better example. Now there are several terribly bad aspects:
1) no substance is added
2) you loose money
3)you become addicted and loose more money
4)for the quality of what your supplier supplies decreases because he knows yo9u'll buy it
5) you loose more money on ****
6) finally you die from OD in this case you quite BWs fanbase.

1) Miranda finally gets her ass covered. This allows me to use her as a squadmate without getting a permanent facepalm mark on my face. For me, it's substance.
2) I lose two bucks Bioware can (hopefully) use to make ME3 better.
3) At the rate they're currently releasing the DLC, I won't go bankrupt any time soon.
4) The only case the quality of the game is guaranteed to drop is EA cuts ME3 funding.
5) It's a bloody $2 DLC. Take it as me showing that I'm still interested enough in Mass Effect to spend money on it.
6) EA can invest more heavily into ME3 knowing that there is still interest. Unless they collapse before it's out, but not buying the DLC sure isn't going to help with that.

In the current economy, they're trying to make money however they can. It all comes down to, are you willing to show support or are you going to go on about how they should make everything excellent from the start and give out extras for free.

2 dollars eventually adds up, Chances are you're like the majority of us who have bought most of the DLC and the game on release only to have the price of ME 3 drop from 50 bucks to 30 and 40 respectively for it's editions. how much money have you really spent on the game? and while it is relatively small compared to your likely income. You aren't understanding the reprucussions it can have. You must remember UNtil 2007 EA has destroyed every game Company it's bought due to it's marketing habits. And this new surplus of DLC that adds nearly nothing to game, nothing modders couldn't do anyway, should not be rewarded with cash monzies or digital monzies. and so far if you are like the majority of the rest of us. this game has costed you roughly $USD 70 so far

You can keep defending the pointeless release of mod quality costumes but you and i both know that 2 dollars aint going to ME 3 maybe 50 cents is. but  it's going to EA mostly that's for sure.

EDIT: i'm not sayign it's the devil just time to start being warry of your purchases. why support a ship that shows signs of sinking.

I'll stick with free mods. Paying for a few extra textures is abysmal.

I'm wondering if Miranda will have a proper helmet too.

It seems quite obvious to me that the number of available armors in the main game was intentionally kept very small, so that DLCs like this would sell better. Otherwise, small content like this would have been the perfect choice for that much praised Cerberus network.

In before people start complaining about Shepard's inability to wear THOSE visors.

That'd be the day.

The armor really means nothing to me if she still wears the litlte gas mask, but I highly, highly doubt they'd give her a helmet.

I still don't get it why Bioware didn't said anything about DLC.

That is a good question anyone up for dismissing it as pointless rumor?

Is this going to be that last DLC that was mentioned?

I was expecting more of the bridging Mass Effect 2 to 3. Welp...

Nah.  They're probably like "Oh jeez, they jumped in on it before the anouncement again.  You know what?  Maybe we should just not release it as punishment for stealing our dramatic reveal."

From the looks of it BioWare is planning a couple "surprises". Maybe they wanted to release/announce this and the DA2 demo at the same time, and since they wanted to make the demo a secret for their "Feb 1st announcement" they are waiting to announce this tomorrow as well.

Did you see a week's worth of new CDN stories?  No?  Well then, there's your answer: no.

Just imagine Miranda running around a hazardous enviroment using her dust mask and her new visor, that would be soooo awesome<_<

Easy there, chief, it was just a question. I remember why I don't like posting on these forums, now.

i can see BW doing that to them, and it wouldn't be the first time that it's happened(clarification tBW having it's thunder stolen i.e. Mass Effect 2 spoilers.)

You can actually make an educated guess based on the design of her neckline in the new armour. Armour in-game that comes with a helmet will either have a broad collar (Kestral/N7) so there is room for head movements with a helmet that wouldn't involve clipping issues, or the collar (front and back) is noticeably low-cut, again, to reduce clipping problems. From the front, it looks like Miranda's new armour doesn't have any protrusions. Unfortunately, we can't see the back of it to say more, so I'd say it's 50/50 at the moment.

As for her hair, they'd do the same thing as they did for femshep, remove it entirely, and plug the helmet on. Got to admit, her face would look really cluttered if she's wearing a visor and a breathing mask at the same time, ugh.

Nope. See didymos1120's previous reply. ;)

As for the AA Pack, I want to see some proper screenshots.

As long as it's not like with DAO when you got the Blood Dragon Armor because you bought it and that unlocked it for ME2 as well.  I lucked out on that one as I wasn't into ME at the time.  But currently have no plans of getting DA2.  I'd hate if they snuck a promotion in like that again.

One thing I wonder is why--especially after all the hatred for Jack and Thane's sunglasses--do they continually feel the need to add eyewear to everyone in the Alt Appearance Packs? I'm surprised they didn't try to weld a visor onto Tali's facemask too...

Oh well, at least semi-transparent visors are better than opaque reflective sunglasses.

It's good Miranda finally got armor. Too bad it's ruined by that silly looking visor.

Tali looks like she jumped into heavy armor.

Grunt looks ehhh. Whats up with dual-wielding visors?

1. I take it you didn't like the Sentry Interface.

2. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. But in my opinion, its just a different color.

3. What'd you think of Garrus' dual mics for his alt?

1: Maybe it's because we haven't got a good close-up look yet, but to me they just look like a pair of yellow sunglasses.

2: I didn't mean it in a negative way actuelly.

3: Garrus's dual mic doesn't look silly, because it's basicly one piece of equipment. Grunt looks like he's wearing two instead of one.
