I doubt it will be any armor but more costumes (unless the squad mate does already wear armor, like Grunt).

Awesome! Another Appearance pack. I hope this does the characters justice. The one for Garrus was an improvement over his busted up armor he was wearing....the other two got shades, etc....

If this is true then it certanly is a pleasant surprise. I thought that us ME2 gamers were only going to get 1 more DLC right before ME3 came out. It's such a relatively minor thing and yet I find that I am quite excied about this news. I wonder which characters are going to get Alternative costumes and what those costumes will look like.

Hopefully Bioware is paying attention. The first Alternative Appearance DLC was rather underwhelming. The only postives were that Jack finally covered up herself and that Garrus no longer had to walk around in that busted up armour ( although it was a shame that they still could not fix the damage to his face ). I'm not really sure what they were thinking with the shades on Jack and Thane.

I would imagine that we are, as they are planning a week of CDN reports for a certain future DLC.

I doubt they will create a weeks worth of these leading up to an alt appearance pack....or, I hope not!

Pardon me, but what is the point of Alternate Appearance packs? I've never been able to figure that out. Is there actually a demand for such dumb and utterly pointless baubles?

The time devoted by programmers on this surely could have been better spent?

I doubt the entire DLC department is devoting their time and effort to making/modifying a few models. Bioware's thus far released the little bitty DLC's between the big story one's, considering that there's still likely a good deal of time before whatever it was CDN was hinting at I am not surprised this is being released.
