Now i'm just waiting for this.
now that is worth the money. is soemthing new... something they have to come up with. Something inovative. not just some recoloring of current textures.
lazyasses.
Totally would buy it, as long as the glasses are purple... or black.

She probably doesn't have a helmet. If they were lazy enough to just recolor grunt and tali... there were lazy enough to not include helmet.

If they were truly "lazy", they wouldn't release these DLCs at all. It'd take 5 years to make a new game that only needs 2 years of development. The quality of the games would be lackluster and the price would be the same. They wouldn't show what the game looked like pre-release. They'd compare it to other games rather than making its own name.
That's "lazy". Not including a helmet?
Not so much.

Incredibly evil of you but I'm sure you know Babli meant does she wear a helmet in hostile enviroments or does she wear the crappy plastic oxygen mask over her mouth still?Chris Priestly wrote...

Chris, I suspect they mean in no or toxic atmosphere conditions. A helmet instead of the ridiculous breather mask.Chris Priestly wrote...

Val, you are obviously never going to change your mind. I hope BioWare never listens t the likes of you because I am sick of games with overly macho men and overly feminized women with skin tight suits. They make me feel like I should be no older than 14 to play.
May I question then, why do I only see complains on the "dressed but tightly dressed" Miranda but no complains on bald but barely dressed at all psychopath Jack?

Jack got covered up quite nicely. A little too much, actually, when you consider the GLASSES.
I'm just glad Miri has a new one. I wasn't one of the folks pining for her to have armor, but it'll be nice to see her in something other than her usual white before she unlocks the blue outfit.
You know, cause this one is ACTUALLY BLACK UNLIKE HER LOYALTY OUTFIT.

Not lazy. They just decided to spend their time elsewhere.

Yeah its lazy. I've done some rendering on pc games for new outfits on characters. ANd is being lazy.
Why, because in free mods the ones giving you the mod want as many downloads as possible to be popular and recognize, amongst other reasons. If we are lazy... we dont get downloads. If we are lazy, we simply recolor something, or do a job half way.
example: In Rome Total war, some communities were craving for the javeling throwers to have a bigger shield.
Some mods decided that just increasing the shield's size in photoshop... a... 10 minute job. Was too much. Instead they just gave you a recoloring of the cloth they were wearing.
It was passed as "spending" precious time elsewhere.
I can see it was lazyness because of tali and grunt. Lazyness is written all over it.
But point is why wasn't that placed since the beginning. Eye candy, and lazyness. Not fixing that still.... is still lazyness.

I'm glad I got anything. Now if Bioware decided to start releasing DLC's like these for 800 points and all of them were nothing more than simple recolors, I'd start complaining.
For now, I can't see where you'd get the inspiration to make the "laziness" argument.
What I clearly see are three new outfits for characters in a game I enjoy.
Something to satiate me until the eventual release of another major DLC similar to Lair of the Shadow Broker.
For $2, its affordable. And in my opinion, looking at what the DLC delivers, I feel it is worth it.
But as I said earlier I believe in another thread(or maybe this one, can't remember)-
Worth is subjective.
For example, I love NYC's street vendor hot dogs. I grew up around them, eating them after school or before going to the subway.
I don't reside in NYC now, but every time I go, I like to go out and get my old favorite-
One or two hot dogs with sauerkraut and red onions. Each one is like a dollar.
I find that to be a STEAL because the dogs taste so good.
But you might not enjoy the same hot dog. You might find the sauerkraut out of place, and the red onions too messy.
Or you just might not like those hot dogs at all. So a dollar per dog to you is a waste as you'd only like to pay .50¢ for the dogs themselves.
My point? Something is only worth a number to a person. Everything on this planet is effectively worthless because anyone can put any price on anything.
You find the Alt Appearance Pack to be a sign of laziness on part of the dev team.
I find it to not be lazy. Because in my opinion, their time is WORTH quite a bit, so getting anything is good enough for me.
Maybe to you their time is WORTH less, and thus this pack makes you feel they half-assed it.
Its all up to individual consumers and their individual opinions.
We'll have to agree to disagree on the matter, because laziness is not something that can be downright admitted to be fact.
Hell, laying down on your butt all day eating potato chips and sleeping can be seen as lazy to most, but you never know if there is some WORTH in it, like trying to slow down a high metabolism.
Just saying.
