Anyone know why they stopped working on their own modules for NWN? I guess it was cause it was to much effort to work against their own community who tossed out quality modules. Those DLC's got canned pretty fast.

I think Witch Wake was produced by a third party company not the community.

I have here dusty boxes here in my hand just to make sure... there is an expansion called Kingmaker containing the best modules released by third party and community: Kingmaker, ShadowGard and Witch's Wake. Yup... it was so ****ing good that they packaged it. :P

There is a toolset for NWN2 and they added some lovely features to the game on SoZ like the overland map. It was so cool to explore the world map in Final Fantasy style!

NWN2 just didnt outlived its predecessor because of lack of Linux support. Anything of quality that you thrown at them will be tinkered to death. There are however some interesting NWN2 community projects like those guys working on the Rogue Dao Trilogy. They just released the first part of their story and I'll sure check it.

As for the ME2 itself I really cant think of reason to mod it that goes beyond texmod and tinkering with the Unreal engine configs. Oh wait.... its better to be left as it is... because I can think of unspeakable horrors related to the character fan{boy, girl}ism and the ability to create their own content.

Mayhaps, mayhaps.

I found kingmaker to be freaking boring :P

NWN2 had a horrible toolset. NWN do not live on Linux? Really, how many use Linux? Like 1% of the market? :)
