I do hope they give armor upgrades for the team. There's a reason that I never take Samara anywhere, ever.

This can be awesome in several ways:
Free
More than 3 squad mates
Really really good outfits
No sunglasses!
Just one of those would be nice

Umm.. I don't know. Maybe a lack of an update to fix the various bugs and issues with Reach. Maybe a fix for the online player profile bugs that still haven't been corrected yet. The terrible spawn points on their online map variants have yet to be fixed. I could go on and on. Bungie is the worse game developer I've ever seen. Not only are they full of themselves, but they're pretty lazy when it comes to post launch maintenance and support.

You can shove your compliments up your nose, as I tend to "lose respect for folks that" consider grammar something that puts them above others.Joram Talid wrote...
yes, i do not capitalize, genius. that is my internet forum style. next time i suppose i'll pass on complimenting your photoshop work, seeing as you get butthurt rather easily.
Anyhow...

Look! Grunt's new armor

Actually, it's third. It's less played than Modern Warfare 2, the last CoD, which is just embarassing.Joram Talid wrote...
i just got into reach, and i'm amazed at how good it is. like halo 3, it is the leader in xbox multiplayer gaming. my only issue is that people mainly pick levels i dislike; but that has nothing to do with the developers.
Bungie is very good at appearing to pay attention to their fans on the surface, but sidestepping issues of any real depth. And you will never, ever get any sort of developer input on the forums like you do here. Admittedly, the bnet forums are a giant cesspool, but there's still intelligent threads with mature debates going on.emanziboy wrote...

Various bugs and issues? Which ones? They had a huge public beta to iron out those kinds of things, and letting over a million people play your game several months early is pretty good fan service, wouldn't you say? And were you really that upset that you couldn't see your up to date armor on your service record (which is actually fixed now by the way)? Speaking of which, how many developers give you anything remotely close to the in-depth info that Bungie provides on your service record? None that I've ever seen. Not to mention the fact that they have entire playlists using nothing but fan made forged maps. Or that SWAT, grifball, and infection were all once community made gametypes that bungie turned into official matchmaking options. Or the update every friday about upcoming playlist changes, game news, or fan contests. I know people can have opinions, but saying Bungie ignores their fans is a stretch to say the least.
As far as Reach goes, there are a number of technical bugs, but they will likely be fixed in time. The hatred for Bungie stems more from the fact that they've continued their march towards making the game more random and more friendly towards unskilled players (demonstrated quite clearly by the abysmal failure that is Arena, and the terrible population performance when you compare it to Halo 3 in its time). Armor abilities, bloom, killtimes, weapon imbalance; the game is a horrible mess that crushes the skill gap in ways Halo 3 could only dream about. And as a side point, the community slayer playlist is a joke, as are the winners of Forgetacular. There are some truly great community maps out there; the ones Bungie chose are not them.
But I guess I'm going ever so slightly offtopic. I didn't buy the last appearance pack, but that was because the only outfit I wanted was Garrus', and I don't use him enough to justify it.

Aww man, I was hoping for story DLC.
Just be happy we're getting anything at all.
And I don't get why you people don't like the sunglases idea. Sure, the ones from the last pack weren't that good, but maybe they'll be better this time.
And besides- Bio has done their share of fanservice for ME2 as someone pointed out in another thread

Because the sunglasses are on all the time, including when you go and talk to that character. Eyes are a big part of what makes people's faces expressive, and if you cover them, you lose a lot of the cinematic impact the game strives for.desonnac00 wrote...
