I'm leaning towards a femhawke rouge. I'm also thinking about leaving her face as the default setting since your family members faces alter along with your own.

Maybe a different name. I atleast want some customization.

Probably a female rogue. Like always.

Male Warrior. Probably. If Coercion/Persuade/Charm/Intimidate/Whatevertheheckit'scalled is solely used by rogues, like it was in KotOR, then I will go for a male rogue. Whatever game I have, my character absolutely MUST be persuasive.

Rogue is my favorite class, but I prefer to use warrior during the first playthrough, because it's usually the fastest and the easiest way to finish the game.

Not sure at the moment. I'm currently replaying origins making sure my decisions influence DA2 the way I like (similar to what I did in ME-ME2). Right now I'm playing as a black mage elf, so the discrimination is fun.

Second Playthrough: Female Mage, making decisions I'm least likely to make.

Third: Male Warrior, saying whatever's most likely to get him some of the good action.



Although right now I'm replaying both Origins itself, again, and Awakening, again.

Okay, ive decided i WILL give the demo a shot, previously wasn't bothered, but now i genuinely can't decide on whether i wan FemHawke 2Handed warrior or Mage...(the staff of parlathan close combat being really enticing). Femhawke whirling that massive sword around as if it's a toothpick does look incredibly badass. I might do the two hander for the first playthrough to get the more "reactive" element of the gameplay then second playthrough use the mage and the more tactical pause and plan approach.

for 1st playthrough I'm planning on playing a dual-wielding female rogue Hawke with a custom face and a custom name, like I played my 1st playthrough of DAO.

Fem Rogue definitely as a first, and depending on if we can bash locks should they be in the game, I may try a warrior or mage later on. But I just can't stand leaving anything locked where I've been.

I always have two first playthroughs - as dull as it sounds - where I deploy completely different personalities and combat styles 
First, the Iconic Trailer Hawke Warrior with Two-Handed spec (maybe a custom one, and in that case I'll make him to be as ugly as I can  )
Then jump into the deep water, some not-raw-firepower Mage, again male.

Only after those I move to experimental cases, with at least one female character.
That's the plan at least.

Trailer Hawke is a Mage. And a Blood Mage at that from the looks of it.
