I have the dlc; ran into the guy who gave me the control for Shale; went to the town and killed all the rift raft; when i click on shale nothing happens!
Why doesn't anything happen?
Can't get Shale to work

Anyway, I'll go look for a door that opens but I was pretty thorough when I tried it, in fact, I went back to the town and covered every step again. I get 2 choices when I click on "The Thing" and one is just a leave the conversation and the other is the "password", which doesn't do anything as he just imitates an ugly statue.
I just bought the game a few days ago so expect many more noob questions.

There's a cellar you can go into. You can always look at the minimap and see where the entrace is or use the tab button to highlight it.
