I manage to get that achivement "No one Left Behind"  on Insanity manage for some reason you had to talk to everyone and upgrade everything such as Jack L5 Implants,Grunts Claymore Shotgun,Legions Geth Sniper Rifle,Mordin tech upgrade everything and must have a 100% Paragon or Renegade in a full bar.
From this website it gave a easy explanation  it kind of show a chart who stays even the difficulity it kind of did work in my favor when I choose Tali on vent,Miranda on Squad Leader,Biotic Barrer Jack,Miranda again as Squad leader,Escort Mordin,Final Boss two people I choose to fight the boss was Garrus and Tali and I pull it off.

Deaths:
  • Loyal Garrus
  • Loyal Jacob
  • Loyal Zaeed
  • Non-loyal Kasumi
  • Non-loyal Miranda
  • Entire crew
Survivors:
  • Loyal Mordin
  • Loyal Jack
  • Loyal Samara
  • Non-loyal Thane
  • Non-loyal Tali
Not sure if anyone will reply, but it's worth a try: Is there a way to get a suicide mission where the above scenario plays out?

This begins to ****** me off... i have completed this game more times than i can count, but i recently got kasumi for the first time and now one of my squad mates dies everytime on the hold the line part.. everything is fully upgraded including weapons, tecs etc.. all 12 members are loyal.. i even send kasumi on the escort part and brought tali and mordin with me for the final battle ( following this guide as they have the lowest defense ) but now Garrus dies.. i have never lost any crew members before and have done everything right.. it seems that after i got kasumi it just messed it all up... i could really use a hand here.. anyone?

EDIT: After many fails i gave up, put it on casual and suddenly all survived... freaking great.. could have saved me 7 effing hours...

Interesting. As I understood it the difficulty setting is not a factor. Who were you using for each task when Garrus got killed? Did you use the chart at the beginning of this thread to work out the maths for your Hold The Line team? What's really weird is that there are several people ahead of Garrus in the order for dying on Hold The Line, and you've only removed three of them: Tali, Mordin and Kasumi. In theory that means that if Garrus carked it then Jack, Miranda and Jacob should have as well. And if it was only one person getting killed then it should have been Jack.

@PsiFive

i spend 7-8 hours just trying to get everyone survive.. found out later that squadmates falling over in the background on the last cutscene when your teamleader is reporting to you doesnt always mean that they die.. which i thought and also was true in the beginning with Mordin.. i guess it was just me who messed up. what was the point in completing it when i could see one die in the end... eventually i gave up and continued anyway, to find out that garrus survived, i felt so stupid..

Hello everybody, I'd like some help planning a specific scenario in my latest run. I am shooting for the absolute worst ending imaginable where if a character can die, they die. My only exception is Garrus because I haven't done his romance in ME3 yet. If somebody is willing to show if my plan is possible, I'd appreciate it.

Dead:
Normandy crew
Mordin
Tali
Miranda
Jacob
Thane
Kasumi
Zaeed
Legion
Grunt

Alive:
Jack
Morinth
Garrus

I plan on selling Legion, and I have ways of killing Miranda, Mordin, Jack, and Morinth in ME3 if I need more people alive for the suicide mission. Again, I would appreciate it if somebody could help me plan this.

Survivors: Jack, Morinth, Garrus

Okay, since you asked for absolute worst ending, I'm going to assume worst case scenarios for all involved here. This means Chakwas biting it as well.

Required:
- Recruiting Samara as soon as possible, then getting the option to recruit Morinth. This is difficult and, no, simply having a high renegade score doesn't guarantee success. Do it sooner rather than later, and take the option to evolve your power for maximum paragon/renegade benefits before you do Samara's loyalty mission.
- Obtaining Normandy's armor upgrade from Jacob.
- Completing Jack's loyalty mission.
- Siding with Jack during the Jack/Miranda debate if you do Miranda's loyalty mission.
- Completing Garrus's loyalty mission.
- Sell Legion to Cerberus.
- Reveal the evidence at Tali's trial. Go on. Doooo eeeeet. She'll hate you forever.

You can do as many missions as you want once the Normandy crew is abducted, it won't matter.

Jack will survive the attack on the armor.
Kasumi won't survive the strain on the shields.
Thane will be crushed by a bulkhead.

Tech specialist: Jacob. It won't turn out well for him.
Biotic Bubble: Miranda must hold the shield. Send Grunt with anyone *but* Jack or Garrus. The swarms will find the krogan tasty.
Escort: Send no escort. Chakwas will be sad. And dead.
Second Fireteam Leader: Zaeed. Everyone but him will make it out alive.
Last Squad: Miranda and Jack. Miranda will die. Who's the biotic **** now?

Hold the Line Squad: Garrus, Morinth, Mordin, Tali. According to my calculations, Tali, as the only nonloyal squadmate, will be the only one to die. This leaves Mordin for Mass Effect 3. I did this because Mordin rocks and you should suffer the consequences of your actions in Mass Effect 3, you heartless bastard! :P

Hold the Line Squad 2.0: Garrus, Morinth, Jack, Mordin. Okay, switch out Tali for Jack. Then Miranda and Tali will both die in the final fight. According to my calculations, only Mordin will die for the squadmates who are left to hold the line. This will leave you with the three final squadmates you requested.

Thank you very much for the help in planning this. I suppose I deserve to shoot Mordin myself as penance for trying to set up my worst ending ever but to be fair, I have already done 6 playthroughs where most if not everybody survive (where applicable anyway). I just wanted to keep on a self proclaimed promise to do the worst ending at least once where it's so bad, even Earth becomes solar dust simply because it's possible.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but a google search and skimming this thread didn't return the answer.

I just got enough credits for another upgrade after completing Legion's loyalty mission, however before I could go pick it up my ship was attacked and my crew abducted. Can I visit any of the hub worlds (Citadel, Omega, Illium, etc.) before using the Omega-4 Relay without it killing some of my crew as a result? What I'm really asking is, does visiting any planet before using the relay count as a 'mission'?

I'll probably end up testing it tomorrow and report back if no one has an answer.

I had quite a few playthroughs where all my team survives, but lately, on every play through, whoever I send in the vent dies even though everyone is loyal and all upgrades have been installed. Because of this, I've typically sent Jacob into the vent because he's not much of a loss for ME3 (sadly). I will try it with Garrus as the first fire team leader to see what happens.

Edited to add: It worked! I had everyone survive by using Garrus as the first fire team leader and Miranda as the second, with Samara providing the biotic shield from the swarms! I'm so glad I found this thread...

No.  I was able to visit the Citadel and purchase a few upgrades after my crew had been abducted, and was still able to save Kelly and the rest of the crew on the suicide mission.

I would love help getting these two survivors.

I want Morinth and Zaeed. But I want NO ONE else to survive, not the crew, not Dr. Chakwas. Just Morinth and Zaeed. I would be honored for any help in that. I'm working for a 'The most miserable Shepard of all.' game.

So freakin irritating. Miranda was loyal because of her fight with jack. could not convince her either. She died. Was going for everybody to survive in my 3rd playthrough. jeeeeez.

Thanks for all the help, finished mass effect 2 dlc digital download. played through first time without seeing this left with only 4 squadmates. Duh didn't armour normandy so half squadmates dead before you get to base ouch. though My biotic Shep survived , is most powerful biotic shep build ive ever done. plus the geth armour fortification mod helps . currently using shepp (Biotic) in Mass effect3. bye the way i tried to do the Geth Quarian truce but talli not survive so problematic i got her pardoned. is the only way to keep talli by not telling the court martial hearing anything so no option but to genocide the geth problematic. any ideas? how to keep talli loyal and get the truce option?... thanks Everyone the Renegade out (AsariRenegade01), thanks also to everyone who helped out in multiplayer despite server snafu apologize if i still dropping out the exchange where i live is at max . and windows hate(8), bloody olympics and mobiles and pads problematic crashing consistently even though im on Win 7 home paranoia (lol) good game every 1. :)

I know this hasn't been posted in for a while, really, but I was looking to see if there was a way to only have Miranda and Zaeed survive the Suicide Mission.

Anyone know if that's possible, or do I have to throw someone else into the mix as well?

I don't know if there's anyone answering anymore, but I'll check this thread from time to time just in case.

I've tried googling and several playthroughs and even tried to understand the guide, but I can't figure this out myself. So if anyone can help me, I would be forever grateful.

The survivors I want and must have:
- Mordin
- Legion
- Thane
- Samara

I can accept Jacob to live (because he is such a jerk in ME3), but the rest I want to die, including Chambers and Chakwas.

Reasons: (if these scenarios are possible to achieve in some other way than by killing someone / letting someone live, I can accept that too)
- Mordin & Thane: I killed Wrex in ME1 and won't save the GP-cure, because I want to betray the krogan and make an all-powerful alliance with salarians. I know I need Thane to have the dalatrass survive.
- Legion: I want to kill all the quarians but I want all the geth to live.
- Samara: I want her to kill herself in ME3.

I have completed so many Paragon Everyone Lives -playthroughs that I now want something completely different. And yes, this Shepard is a jerk, too.

Muchos thanks!

Hey guys, I wonder if you can help me orchestrate a specific outcome... I need everybody to survive except Tali and Zaheed (I also need the entire Normandy crew to die on the way back to the ship). I believe Zaheed would be the one to choose for the second fireteam leader? And I need tali to die holding the door, not getting taken by the swarms.

After reading the guide I believe I should send Zaheed to lead the second fireteam and without him and Garrus, Tali should die later? Any help would be really appreicated guys, thanks so much

@KevClynes-- don't send an escort back with the crew(they will all die)
if Zaheed and tali are not loyal just bring them to the human reaper fight
if Zaheed and tali are loyal have Zaheed do the vent and tali lead the 2nd fire team

dennyczx, don't think so but didn't see anything in the clip that indicated that Miranda had died in ME2. As I understand it she can die in ME3 even if loyal and/or romanced. Not played the whole game so don't know if this clip takes place after that.

this scene is about someone you lost , it is always about Kaiden/Ashley or if you had a romance with someone from ME2 and the person died , but it is just impossible to get this scene because a Loyal Miranda is just unkillable :/

That there's a clip of it suggests either that it's not quite impossible to kill a loyal Miranda or the loss doesn't necessarily have to happen in ME2. I understand it's possible to get Miranda, even a loyal and romanced Miranda, killed in ME3 simply by failing to tell her about that Leng nuisance, but I don't know whether the clip you posted would take place before or after Miranda dies. If Miranda can die before this scene you linked to then there's your answer. If that mission doesn't happen until afterwards then it's got to be a modified game or he found a way to kill Miri after all. Why not leave a comment on the YouTube clip and ask how it was done?
