But seriously, this is an issue that is quite polarising. I generally enjoy debate over most ideas, but this is not one of them. I don't want to see a single minute of BioWare's time go to developing a feature that has no place in ME3, and I feel very, very strongly about that.

Update: All
the numbers / percentages remained the same though out. . . IGN's poll
has a current sampling of about 34,400. . . All threads remain active,
unless there is the - locked behind them!

Update 2: Time to update the numbers yet again for you MP peeps. . . . Standby. . . Looks like IGN's poll has climbed to 34,484 thus far. . . still with the same spread however 79% NO    21% YES
and the numbers on the BW Poll . . . are 76% NO  14% Maybe  8% Yes  with a sampling of 627.

Also. . .  I would like to add my NO. . . to this tread. I would rather they pay their full attention to the story.

It's like imagine world with lags, disconnects, text/voice 'lol' messages and stupid nick... Cool... On the other hand I would be happy to play through campaign second time, but in co-op mode and Insanity level. Battlefield: Mass Effect would be just another multiplayer shooter.

i think we should have a co-op mode that would be lovely and as you help your friends out you level up your guy also with a max level of like maybe 100 and alot of DLC's

Single player might not be effected. But disk space will. And where there's limited disk space, there are sacrafices.

It's mostly coding, few to no new models and textures. And all we know is that ME2 needed 2 disks, we do not know whether a big part of the second disk was used, do we?

Multiplayer DESTROYS single player games unless and until both are made with the same amount of dedication. Case in point Red Dead Redemption and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood



Bioware would be stupid to waste their time on Multiplayer which would end up being populated with swearing 15 year olds. They can make a standalone Mass Effect multi-player spin off of they want

I hope not. but if they have it I hope EA just contracts an outside developer to make it so that bioware just focuses on the single player.

edit: just noticed the hate.  Its not bioware's call.  EA already wants multiplayer in all their games, hopefully they dont.
