[Augustei]

So Throughout the entire game series (Origins, Awakening, Golems, Lelianas Song, Witch hunt) Which NPC or Companion was your favourite and which was your least favourite??
Excluding your warden of course.

My Favourite Would be Ser Cauthrian
My Least Favourite would be Velanna

least fav - Oghren



Hm, actually there's no NPC who sticks out one way or the other....

I liked the Lady of the Forest, lol.

didn't like Oghren? wha??? Why not Oghren was awesome.. not so much in awakening but in Origins he was cool

Least fav: Morrigan

Fave Companion: most likely Liliana as I seem to have the Rogue along in almost every party.

Least Fave: Zev; reminds me that disco died for good reasons, and he hits on anything breathing unless he ain't.

Fave NPC: Sandal; the potential for character development seems endless.

Least Fave: Isolde; helping her is a challenge, as she inspires apathy; not heroism. Plus I believe she may be responsible for some of the love letters gathered along the way.

Favorite tie between Alistair and Zev though I really appreciate Teagan too because he stands up for what is right.

Least favorite Ser Cauthrian because she blindly follows Loghain (and even says to her guards that Loghain wants the warden dead or alive) and talks down to the warden in Eamon's estate.  She doesn't care what the truth is.  I don't know how people talk her down as my warden has never been able to even with cheats and she attacks the group before the landsmeet if she doesn't attack them at Howe's estate even with a Cousland.  With her would be Isolde. Don't think there's anything redeeming in Isolde's character. I would never blindly follow anyone though so Ser Cauthrian is number one least liked by me.

Favorite would be a tie between Sten and Morrigan ,theyre just awesome

Least favorite would have to be Awakening Oghren,seeing the somewhat tragic Oghren from DAO turned into  the comedic relief seen in Awakening was just..ugh

Favorite npc ...Sandal probably.Found alone in the Deep roads and able to easily dispatch dozen of darkspawns...Yeah theres a story to be told there somewhere .

Least Favorite Companion: Loghain (well technically he never became a companion for me)

Favorite NPC: Bann Teagan

Least Favorite NPC: Vaughn

Most Irritating NPC: Amalia ("Daddy doesn't like Cats...but he hasn't met Kitty!" "Do you like Daffodils?")

Favorite: Kardol

Least: Cammen/Gheyna (they're a package deal)

Favourite companion: Alistair. Plays against type for a typical RPG warrior: he isn't some ultimate, grimdark badass, he doesn't always know what to do, and he has some deep-seated insecurities. That makes him more "real" to me; that, and his stupid jokes add some levity to the game.

Runner up: Zevran. Basically the party's version of fun personified. Not a person to turn to for moral advice (though he isn't quite the amoral killer you think he is at first), but definately someone to take along if you're looking for a good time.

Least favourite companion: Morrigan. "Stupid Evil" personified. A miserable, wretched tart in a ludicrous outfit. Acts haughty and condescending despite her complete ignorance of the world outside the Wilds. Claims to be "practical" when she is really just self-centred, shortsighted, moron following a pitiful Nietszche-wannabe philosophy. Lacks the wisdom to realise that her world view was all part of Flemeth's plot to isolate her and make her easier to possess.

Runner up: Leliana: Frivolous, over-pious, lispy-voiced twit. Naive and easily lied to, in spite of her background which should make her anything but. Rampant "girly-girliness" and yammering on about shoes and hair makes me want to stave in her head with a tree trunk. Looks like Imoen but isnt' anywhere near as cool as Imoen.

Favourite NPC:  Duncan. Voiced by the same person who did the voice of Splinter in TMNT, instantly increasing his awesomeness twofold. Single-handedly kills an ogre while mortally wounded by climbing up its chest with his sword and dagger. Is the only reason why YOU, the PC, don't get screwed over in your origin story.

Lease favourite NPC: Isolde. Shrieking harpy whose stupid decisions led to Redcliffe Village being attacked by hordes of undead, and while this is happening she sends a good number of knights on some vain quest for some holy artefact (which they won't find because they are not the main character). Gets off completely scot-free unless you sacrifice her or kill her son. Was partly responsible for sending Alistair to the monastary based on only a rumour.

Yeah Bhelen and Loghain are cool, they dont have much in the way of morals but they are two of the deepest charecters in the game

Nah not ineffective, Just least favourite as a person. Based on their personality and their actions

Least-favorite NPC: Isolde. Her idiotic, selfish plan to hide her son's magical talents nearly destroys Redcliffe and almost causes the death of Eamon. There's really nothing redeeming about her.

Fav: Loghain. It's hard to hate the guy since he believes he does everything for the good of Ferelden.



Least Fav: Morrigan. Hates you unless you drown every puppy and kitten you see. I like it when the 'Evil' characters have a motivation besides just being evil.
