Ammo Abilities

What do the ammo abilities do and how do thy affect certain enemies?
I get that they give your shots fired effects determined by the power you use but i am yet to find a post that list exactly the benefits to each are..
For example..
Incendiary Ammo -
(what Dmg% do you get vs armor/health at each stage and depending on what Lv4 Evolultion you choose, and also if that changes with certain enemies such as organics or mechs or organics with armor or heath regen etc etc)
Cryo ammo - etc etc
I understand the basics that you use incendiary on armor and it gets a crowd control effect and you are supposed to use disruptor Vs sheilds and mech/geth but i am clueless to the actual stats and math behind them to fully judge how to maximise the use of them..
i apologize if this has already been done in another post but i was not abl to find it and would love a link.. and if theres one that explains the math behind all the other abilities in th game it would be great aswell..

Incendiary ammo = Organic Armor +50% dmg per shot
Mech Armor +50% dmg per shot
Organic health ...etc etc...

The amount of shields/health an enemy has depends on its level, which depends on Shepard's level. The specifics are, as far as I know, not available. Some players have run tests with various weapons, powers, and attacks to determine the fastest way to drop defenses, but beyond that we don't have the details.
Edit: Difficulty level is also a factor, as you pointed out.
