I am 20 hours into the game now and despite some earlier bugs and glitches Mass Effect 2 for the PS3 is one of the best games I have ever played period.  This game has excellent character development.  I actually feel emotion playing this game and making choices that will effect the future.  Exploring the galaxy is so much fun and lots of missions to accomplish.  This was well worth the money I spent.  Thank you Bioware for making such an outstanding game.

I hope eventually a patch will be made for some of the minor bugs and issues.  Mass Effect 3 should be a contender for a perfect 10/10 if polished with no bugs.

Bioware rules!!!

Kingkranz pretty much summed it up, but thank you SO much Bioware for giving a whole new group access to this awesome game. I played Mass Effect 1 on my PC and liked it, but my computer was too old to do anything, so I just pouted. Please ignore anyone complaining about this becoming multi-platform, as it just increases your profit to pour back into ME 3 and everyone who deserves a raise for contributing to this amazing game. I finished it once and immediately went back for seconds as a different class. Plus that you guys (and the dragon age people) and deal with us forumites. Bioware, you are my favorite developer for good reason and I will play every game of yours I can get my hands on. I am sure just about anyone who has played ME2 or DAO will agree.

ME2 is phenomenal but the game is buggy as all hell - perhaps Technical Support isnt the best place to be waving your pom poms (at least not until Bioware fix the damn thing)!

While I know others have had crippling issues, I have none to speak of (which doesn't mean its not important, of course). They had a very rapid reaction to this, though.

All my bugs and glitches were in the beginning of the game. I have been playing 20 plus hours smoothly now. I am sure the issues are being addressed...things take time.

All of my glitches and bugs were in the volcano level. Did anyone else have bugs in that area? If so maybe Bioware can take a look at that area. I have been backing up all my data and would recommend everyone else does until there is a patch. Also after restoring all my corrupt files, things are running smooth. I can't wait for Mass Effect 3..hopefully the new engine will be perfected by then.

Yes, thanks, BioWare. I played ME1 on my neighbor's 360 in preparation for this and between the two games you have a big-time fan in me. Two, really; girlfriend is hooked as well.

I'm 27 hours into the game and no glitches or bugs still. A few minor frame rate issues in high detailed areas. Seems like for me the glitches were in the volcano level.  Character development keeps getting better.  Awesome game!

Yes, thank you Bioware. When I sold my 360 I thought I would never get a chance to play the second chapter of my favourite game. But you went above and beyond and brought the game to the PS3 with extra content. The fact that you have been so quick to create a patch to address the issues also just further demonstrates that your good reputation is deserved.

Game is frozen on the shadow broker level. I tried to open the video archive and the game froze and couldn't use any button to exit. I had to restart my PS3 manually and lost data. Also, terrible frame rate issues outside the plane before going after the shadow broker. Terrible frame rate fighting the spectra in the level before that. Basically frame rate issues throughout the entire game at this point. 30 hours into the game. Please fix this Bioware. It's a shame such a great game with all these glitches.

I just finished my first run through and I was very impressed at how the game ran near the end, it was very intense. Despite actually loving the campaign and how I developed my first character, I wasn't happy how I started him so I'm going to start again with how I wanted my character to be.

But I won't do that until the patch comes out, mainly due to Liara getting jealous of Kaiden being in Shepard's photo frame.

Brilliant game and glad its on the PS3 now but wish Bioware released the first ME game as well for the PS3 since it's wierd jumping into the middle of a trilogy.

It wasn't their fault, blame Microsoft who has publishing rights.  They did what they could which was to provide the interactive backstory comic.

Thank you Bioware for bringing Mass Effect 2 to the PS3. I've only had the corrupted save glitch once, and beyond that, I've been having a blast with the game. Eventhough the posts with complaints outnumber the love, truth is most of the people who are complaining are probably doing so out of love as well. So don't be discouraged. =D

Mass Effect 2 is indeed a wonderful game. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Today I finished my first playthrough and the endgame was simply breathtaking. I did encounter the corrupted save glitch when I first tried it; I was level 22 and through half of the Shadow Broker mission. It was a little disappointing but I didn't mind looking at different perspectives and finding more objects when I had to start over. Awesome introduction of ME to the PS3, BioWare! Just wish I could play ME on it. :(
