I'm new so I'm not sure if this is allowed or not, but the site rules don't mention it so, here I go. Many of us who have bought Mass Effect 2 for the PS3 are a little disapointed that quests like the Conrad Verner quest and Giana Parasini on Ilium are not present. To solve this, I reccomend a DLC pack or something similar to add those quests in. I have created a group to promote this idea which is in the link below.Image IPB

I'm pretty sure petitions are discouraged on the board. No reason you can't run a social group about it though.

Other than the fact that it is never going to happen, I mean. I do not say this with malice, just my 2 chits.

Didn't say anything in the rules, well there are unwritten rules. Just wanted to get the word out.

Well you didn't phrase it in the "POST HERE IF YOU SUPPORT THIS IDEA MAKE BIOWARE LISTEN NAO!!!!" format, so you should be fine. Was just letting you know... this board sees frequent fan petitions, talking about what you want is one thing (it is a discussion forum, after all), but the "petition" style threads usually end up locked with a message saying "no petitions".

I hate to be "THAT GUY"... But I don't think it's going to happen. That would take way too much time and effort... They'd pretty much have to re-release ME1 for PS3.

Not going to happen, IMO. Sorry.

Microsoft giving away their exclusive publishing rights for mass effect 1 so bioware can release it on the ps3 yeah... Thats something that will never happan.

And i'm fairly sure that any content taken directly in part or whole from me1 cant be released on the ps3 either. So im afraid your stuck with the interactive comic

Sorry, but I think you like many other PS3 buyers of ME2, especially if new to the series will have to fess up and realize BW/EA 'got you good' in the sense that to get the complete version of Mass Effect you'll need to buy ME1, likely on PC, then re-buy ME2, and then buy ME3 for either PC/PS3/both.

And let's even get into the DLCs, running you another 20 bucks on top of ME2.

So... $20 for ME1, $20 for ME2, and ~$20-30 for the DLCs.

The best thing you could do is wait for a Steam or EA sale on ME/2 and purchase them then. I think ME2's release anniversary is coming soon? Would be a good opportunity.

The hardware requirements of ME 1 and ME 2 aren't very high in comparison to other games. I assume that many PS 3 gamers also have a PC, and in many cases it would probably be fast enough to run the games. And both games together for PC would still cost you less than ME 2 alone for the PS 3.

The comic didn't even include all of the main quest decisions - not sure if they will ever do sidequests.

I had the PC version but I got the PS3 version to escape the crashes and since I dont have a means to get bioware points in the near future I can't get PC DLC.

IMO a DLC with just a check list where you fill in how you did each side quest from ME1 that loads up at the beginning would be fine (similar to the comic but just decisions without pictures and sound). I'd pay for that to then have the consequences visible throughout my ME2 playthrough.

Yes I'd pay $5-$8 to get something like that.

A simple checklist would be nice. Assuming the content is still on the disc, I'd happily pay 5-10 dollars for a basic editor allowing us to check off how we completed the carry over decisions from ME1.

Blame M$oft,if it wasn't for them, you'd have the whole game on PS3 instead of that ****ty comic.

Hoping that Microsoft will let a little side quest check list slip through the exclusivity deal.

PS: join the group. First to do so may be moved to officer status.Image IPB

I apologize for double posting but I wanted to say this. Have a piece of DLC between 5-8 dollars to rectify the problem. When you load up your save game a questionaire appears on the desk in the captains quarters. Have it in the form of a datapad. When you fill out the questionaire asking about your smaller choices, the ME2 followups appear in the world, like Verner just appearing in the bar.

exactly, and this is why ME2 for PS3 suck hard... Mass Effect is all about importing and seeing what happened with your choices from the first episode. this is Not Final CorridorFest Fantasy XIII where the scenario happens and you can't change it. on that point, I can do the XIII on 360 and get XIII-2 on PS3, Everything will be fine.

playing Mass Effect without importing any saves and simply look on the sames defaults choices is...

Why when we can make a blown out of proportion Dark Horse commic?

1. Seeing as the PS3 version was the first time I got to play overlord, Kasumi and Lair, it was damn good.

2.FF XIII was a great game, stop dissing it.

1. of course they was good ! I did them on Xbox 360, buying 'em all 50% off this holiday. they we're awesome but this was not the point, I talked about playing Mass Effect 2 without importing any saves.

2. I enjoyed FFXIII but I hated the Corridorfest during 3/4 of the game, I find this really sucky to play almost 40 hours before FINALLY finding some Optional quests and being able to EXPLORE the world. And for that reason I won't buy FFXIII-2. But I'll take FFVXIII, this one sounds f'kin awesome ! <3

You knew what you were getting when you bought the PS3 version, deal with it.

I waited ~ a year till Mass Effect dropped on 360 and grudgingly passed (even though I had one at the time) just to see if it'd get released for PC. My patience paid off. I'm a PS3er now and I have ME2 for it but the PC is the definitive version (no offense to console gamers) because of exclusivity and other issues.

It thought long and hard about wether I wanted to play ME2 and ME3 on PS3 or take my ME1 save file to the end, but I choose the PS3 and DLC and no crashes in the end. I made this thread to promote a way to have the best of both worlds.

Also, FFVXIII does not exist. If you're refering to FFXIV(14) that game was garbage apparently.
