Is there a difference between amor percing and fire ammo?
Is cryo any good? Never found it usefull.
Warp ammo or armor percing ammo for an engineer?

Cryo is good if you get the squad version and give it to squadmates who don't have an ammo power, but anything else (other then Shredder ammo) is better.
Warp Ammo is better then Armour Piercing against barriers, but not as good against health and armour.

Since you said you've never found it useful..... you've just answered your own question.(2)
Trial and error. You can change your bonus power anytime. Play a few missions and you'll figure it out. It depends on the player. (3)

Inferno Ammo and Cryo Ammo are the best IMHO, and you can't have either as your bonus power. Simply take Grunt or Jacob with you and use their squad Inferno Ammo.

if your playing on insanity if great maxed out, it kills shields, it also works great against all Synthetic, it also heats up enemies weapons for about 3 to 6 seconds, great ammo power along with incendiary and cryo ammo.tangmcgame wrote...
Since we're discussing ammo powers, how does everyone feel about Disruptor ammo? I'm beginning to think it's only worth it on geth missions and otherwise I should be using inferno/squad cryo. Shields drop way too fast and then you have to chew up a ton of health so the inferno helps out. Am I on the right track here?

some classes can find ammo powers very useful, like the adept that just does need any more powers because i find adding another power just gets in the way of my boitic combos so i just add a ammo power use it on my guns so that way i have that extra kick on my guns without it getting in the way of my biotic combos.Kronner wrote...
Neither, you don't need ammo power as your bonus power. There are far better options available. Ammo powers add relatively little bonus.

I agree with this, I only use disruptor on Geth missions. Perfer indendary/cryo for their effects the rest of the game. I play mostly Soldier and Vanguard. When I play infiltrator or engineer I always brought Jacob or Grunt for their squad incendary.
I play Overlord when I'm leveled up to 30 so sometimes just use squad cryo even on that mission.
