Hi folks,
I've been looking at the various properties for things like creature bites & wanted to set up the poison part of the bite for a Naga I've got in a current project.
Only problem is, I have no idea which poison to pick - Belladonna, Nightshade, giant centipede, etc. - there seem to be loads of different poisons, which is great, but I can't see any way of seeing what their different properties are - Damage caused, save difficulty, etc.
I've had a quick google around to see if anyone's put anything together already, but I've not seen anything yet - does anyone know where this sort of info may be?

They're linked to poison.2da. Once you get in there, all the columns should be pretty self-explanatory.

Ah - I should have known it was something simple - of course. I've never played with 2da's at all, and don't know much about them - had no idea there was a specific one for poisons.
Looks like I know what I'll be doing on my next day off :-)
Thanks.

For the most part, the poisons in the 2da file are straight out of the v3.5 DMG.

Thanks rjshae - I'm not familiar with 3.5 - all my dusty old books are 1st edition AD&D & a couple of 2nd ed. - but I'm just about getting my head around the 'new', ever so slightly more logical way of doing things!
