Probably a portal to the fade, being able to enter the fade with your corporeal body would likely bring great power to a mage and drive another insane or taint them/turn them into an abomination.

On a serious note, Justice says that spirits return to "the Source" (capital letter intended) when they die. he never explains what it is, it is never mentioned again and it's not in the wiki but there you go.

The Eluvian is said to go to a place beyond the Fade. Perhaps it is the same place that Justice referenced. Spirits of the dead go there. Perhaps if a physical person went there, then something would happen (I'm making this up as I go; therefore, I'm uncertain). In any case, what happens in that other realm may affect what will happen in Dragon Age II

Some version of Arlathan could make sense, considering how the Witch Hunt applies, as Arlathan is more or less a mythical unreachable place for traditional characters, and all of our understanding of said Eluvians is tied to understanding ancient Elvish history and literature.

I couldn't find it on youtube but I think that I've found it on the wiki (it's the one about the chest in the throne room)
