How do you hotkey dual weapons? You could do this in nwn 1 by dragging the weapons on top of each other, put this doesn't work in nwn 2?

Yes, it works. For me, at least.

I think you're missing it because it doesn't look the same, instead of having the two weapon icons overlapping eachother, you just have the 1st weapon's icon and then a little sword icon in the corner to tell you there's a second weapon involved.

I recall that unpatched NWN2 had some issues with dual-wielding not working. Make sure you are fully patched.

I don't know because I've never done that. Did you try with other (small and/or medium) weapons?

One possible issue you could be running into is that hotkeys automatically bind to activatable abilities if an item has them. Otherwise, this should be working even with monkeygrip large weapons.

Ok so I can put smaller dual wield weapons in the hotkeys, but not two large weapons. Even one large and one meduim works, but not two large. Strange.

That's because you can't dual wield two large weapons until you get the feat for doing so, up to that time it is verboten. Just like you can't use armor and weapons in which you are not proficient. This isn't PnP and some of the rules are different to avoid confusing the "Instant Gratification Crowd" who have no familiarity with the penalties of PnP rules.
