Judging by these options, the main choices are: Origin, Warden Sacrifice and Who rules Ferelden.
If we don't upload a save, that's it
What references about your warden do you want to hear?

Warden defeating the Blight/Archdemon, his/her love interest and gossip, politics of the Circle of Magi after the tower incident, who became Ferelden's Monarch, Grey Wardens stationed in Amaranthine (since Ferelden was the only nation that actually exiled the Wardens at one point) are all things that definitely need to be mentioned since they are all things the general public would hear about and possibly care about. Maybe the Urn of Sacred Ashes, too, but it was only rumor and legend before, so I don't know.
things like Orzammar's king are more isolated and therefore I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a mention for. I suppose Merril could mention news about the Dalish, especially if the Warden was Dalish, but otherwise, things completely isolated to a specific group would probably get little mention.
Things like the Anvil of the Void (since only the Deshyrs and the Warden's group knew about it), the Dark Ritual, and the fate of the Architect in Awakening are examples of things that wouldn't make sense to have a mention by the public since they are all isolated incidents and wouldn't be shared or cared about.

Really? One Warden running around with 8 companions, and the general public would know which one - or 2 - the warden was sleeping with?
I know people may like to hear that, but do you really think it makes sense for the general public to know that?

I don't see why not. It was already alluded to in some Origins epilogue slides.TJPags wrote...

They don't have to be broadcasting it for rumors to start. People can see how they act around each other and put 2 and 2 together.

Either that or what would be cool is if Varric told us a story about our warden's exploits.

IIRC, DG or one of the other devs have said it's a very distant relationship. So they may not realize it.
However, something like this I can see being of relevance.

The Warden CHOSE to become a Warden. My Warden could just have easily spent all of his time looking for his brother (Cousland), fighting for Eleven or Dwarvern interests, or researching magic. The Warden never was FORCED to be a Warden, he was recruited. He or she CHOSE to potentially sacrifice themselves to stop the blight.
I don't see how someone can equate this with just "doing their job". It's not like were asking for people to do cartwheels over the barista at starbucks making our coffee....
It depends on the Warden. You could be forcibly conscripted in every origin -- my f!Cousland was conscripted against her will, for example.

People still remember the name of guy who led the armies and killed the archdemon of the Blight 400 years earlier, even though by this logic it shouldn't be something that anyone but the denizens of Antiva would care about. Or not even them, given how it doesn't really affect them either.kylecouch wrote...
They are the Hero of Ferelden...as such The Free Marches are not part of Ferelden and they should not really care what the Warden did because it don't really affect them all that much. (ignoreing the Blight)
Anyway, if the DAO DLC so far is any indication we're going to hear rumours about the Warden's fascination with nugs.

"If The Warden was in a romance with her and refused to take part in the ritual, Morrigan is last seen traveling west through the Frostback Mountains, possibly with child, and it's been rumored she once was the lover of The Warden himself. (Happens if The Warden and Morrigan shared at least one night together at camp)."

Oh, yes, it has happened. Personally, though, I view the epilogue slides as telling ME about what happened after the game, based on my choices. I mean, I have an interest in that, since they were my choices. I'd venture the same goes for most people here, although I don't want to speak for anyone else.
However, I'm not so sure that other people in the world of Thedas would be interested in the same things. They might be. I mean, some people in THIS world care about who celebrities are dating this week. Me, I don't care about that. At all.
And rumors, as I'm sure you know, have a tendancy to not always be true. With that in mind, would people who, say, romanced Morrigan be happy to hear rumors that a dashing Crow had once been the Wardens lover?

If a direct Fereldan and somebody who might have fought in the Battle of Ferelden can get information wrong that bad then the people in Kirkwall shouldn't fare any better. I wanna hear things about how my Amell warden "conjured a beam of pure light that burnt the Archdemon! My cousin saw it during the battle of Denerim, there was nothing left." "Maker, a single mage taking down an Archdemon by himself. Thank goodness the Templars are here, I wouldn't want to get on his bad side..."

think about it, your warden was there just before the town fell and so was hawke. It would be possible that they have a small cut scene where Hawke remembers seeing the "great warden" as he passed through Lothering, and maybe he was inspired..
