I think this is the wrong forum, unless he was an employee of the bioware store. I dunno where to post it, try asking a mod.

It's not abnormal for people to just stop posting frequently or have things going on in their lives... so unless you have some other reason to be concerned, I'd just wait it out. Some members only check in every month or so.

Well then, in all likelihood you got played. The account was probably a secondary ghost of some other user that used the account you contacted souly for that purpose...its not been uncommon as of late, and should be a good learning experience for any reading this. Unfortunately, if you didn't set up any collateral, i wouldn't know what you could do - if your money has already cleared the bank, there is likely little the bank or Paypal can do about it, as far as i know...not much that Bioware or EA can do about it either. Just be sure to be very skeptical of people, especially those who can easily delete their account (nothing registered to it, recent creation date, no relevant forum activity, few or no BSN friends, etc.).

Just out of curiosity, what was the username?  Edit: And do you know of any recent public posts made by it?

Are you talking about Superluminal? I did some business with him a couple months ago, gave me a good deal on a litho, he seems like a good guy, and I am a little confused as to what happened to him as well.

...so you sent him a Litho and he didn't pay you for it? If so, my reasoning and suggestion still applies...I can't see how else it could be such a dire cause and involve money.

He may have deleted his account, or his account may have been deleted by EA for likely a good reason (though, when asked, i doubt they would tell you if this is the case), or something could actually be wrong with the BSN (which you likely will never find out about since it would appear to be a very localized error).

Do you have a username of his from another site? From what tdl84 said, I doubt he's screwed you, either something's happened to him, or his account by choice, or not by choice. I agree that you will probably not find out if it's not by his choice unless you can find him. If you don't want to give us more info about how it involves money, then I really say whether this problem has something to do with whatever that involving money is. If you can find him somewhere else on the net, you might get lucky, but googling his username probably won't turn up much, even if he does use the same one the net over, there are very few sites that you'd actually be able to find his account on by either googling the username, or going to the site, unless you know a site where he's registered and the username, if this is the case, I suggest looking. I don't really know why I'm posting this, was just checking back to see what had happened, and it seems I'm offering advice.

Yes, I agree with dsurian, be skeptical when conducting deals involving money, lithos, or both via the forums. You should be fine if you can get a reccommendation from someone else, but otherwise I wouldn't conduct details until you both have each others details, and can confirm they are vaild. I've had good experience with deals, both of my via the forum deals have been with trusted members, so I wasn't worried, I trusted them, they trusted me, and it worked out fine. I know this isn't really the place to post this, but am just replying to what dsurian said, and I don't think there really is a place to post this.

Jedi, I can't tell whether you're being serious or not. I was being sarcastic. I'm not sure whether this is your brilliant sense of humour at work (and that was not sarcasm), or whether my sarcastic comment didn't come out right, and didn't sound sarcastic enough, or at all.

Anyways, good luck finding him, and if I see him on the forums, I'll let you know. 1 question, is the thing involving money something that you'd really need to worry about if you don't find him?

Ah, this isn't about the BioWare Store, and is therefore off topic. You can discuss it further with each other via PM.
