So I just decided to kill Avenis on a play through.  His robes... "inproves blood magic"  Also the sword you get in there "weakens Darkspawn"  How exactly?  I'm really getting frustrated with these half assed item descriptions.  It just smacks of either laziness, or greed to make people buy the guide.
