Jack's Loyality Bug?

In the 360 version after you talk to the last person (in Jack's Cell) & pick take your time dialogue. You can usually walk around the room & jack will comment on various things before leaving the cell.

However in the PS3 version I picked take your time & the Cut Scene for blowing up the facility almost immendly shows up. Thier is a split second that Update Journal pops up telling me Walk with Jack around the room.

Is this suppose to happen? or is this a glitch?

I'd say reload the save before that and try again, just to double check and make sure you chose "Take your time." That's what I picked when I did her loyalty mission and it worked like it was supposed to (walk around the room and listen to her comment).

Reloaded the last Auto-Save & tried three times. Same outcome ever time.

I had the same outcome on the PS3 version; I was hoping to hear Jack commenting on things around the room.

Hrm. I check it out and see if it does that. Could be a bug.

Same thing happened to me. I saved right before entering the last room with the crazy dude and it was the same problem every time I re-loaded. I thought Bioware just cut that out for brevity but Shiratory above says he/she was able to walk around the room with Jack, must be yet another PS3 version bug to add to the list.

Worked fine for me. On two different playthrough's (male and female). But I did not have sex with her before the loyalty mission.

Neither did I. I should also point out that I have the PSN version if that makes any difference so Bioware can have all the info to try and fix this bug. I'll also point out that I was playing paragon and Jack's loyalty mission was one of the last missions I did before going through the Omega 4 relay if that helps.

I wonder if the loading times for the PSN version are better since it's running off of the HDD. I know Bioware are aware of the long loading times but I'm wondering if it's a problem for the BD version of the game.

This is a glitch that happened to me once while playing the 360 version. Never figured out why.

I cannot help you resolve the issue, only confirm that this bug is not restricted to the PS3 version.

Yeah, fine for me too. Always walk around and hear her talk about her room.

The loading seems pretty long on the PSN version as well especially on the Normandy when going between decks.

First playthrough it seemed to cut straight to the final cut-scene for me, but when I did the mission on my 3rd playthrough (2nd I took the 'no time' option) it allowed me to do the walk around stuff so I am wondering if I just accidentally tapped the 'no time' option by mistake or it just glitched on first run.

I didn't experience that glitch, I was able to walk around and click on things to get Jack's comments. I'd assume it's a glitch though.

It worked fine for me too no problem, with two of my characters. But I do remember having the same problem on the 360 once, and only once in four different characters on a second playthrough of one

I have this problem too playing the pc version. I'm on the second play through but didn't had the glitch on the first one... very annoying... seems like a random glitch please bioware address the issue.

it really breaks the immersion.

I might have a solution, as this worked for me.

I think the bug may happen when you do Miranda's loyalty mission and then do Jack's loyalty mission without speaking to Miranda on the Normandy.

Make sure you speak to Miranda on the Normandy after completing her loyalty mission. You may then begin Jack's loyalty mission, and the "Take your time" scene will run normally.
