I have tired to download a few projects from this site.

Repeatedly downloaded some of them and when I try to unzip them I get
*Cannot open File: It does not appear to be a valid archive*

when I highlight the file and the little info window appears it says-

*No zip file, bad zip file part of a spanned/split zip file*



I have download many zip files without a problem, but none of the ones I download from here see to work.

I REALLY WISH BW WOULD GET THIS SITE WORKING PROPERLY.

i cant even download any. everytime i try it says cannot find DAUpdater.xml file. i dont know how to find this to even change the settings.

Fix for Dudda

Just save it to the desktop and open up DAupdater manually by going to
C:\\\\Program Files\\\\Dragon Age\\\\bin_ship
(or whatever destination the games at)
Then when DAUpdater is opened search for the mod file on your desktop.

Well a couple of them are the HD textures and the storeage chest at camp by one of the BW guys...

the other ones I just dl'ed to see if it would work and they all did the same thing.

I have successfully downloaded and unpacked storage_chest.dazip, HDtextures_0.6.zip, and HDtextures_patch.zip. What are you using to unzip them with?

winzip and winrar

get an error on both.

I have tried to download about 15 things.. (if I remember correctly) and every one does this, yet, I have successfully installed the storage chest one when I followed it to a different link to download.

It had no problems when I did it that way, yet every time I try to download from this site, it if corrupt or broken.

It is somethinf wrong with this site, at least for me. Concidering none of my characters have updated since I got the game, even Isis who has yet to even appear, tho my achivements show, to posts not showing up for 4-12 hours, even by reloading refreshing, closing firefox and coming back....

Its this site, cuz I can still download and use stuff from other sites.

If it was, it should be consistent, but you're so far the only one to report this problem. I still think it's on your end. Try IE and 7-Zip (far superior to WinZip and WinRAR anyway). If you're using any sort of (third party) download manager, disable it and use only the browser.

I have downloaded many projects, and unzipped them, but cannot actually get them to effect the actual game. Yes I did go to the documents/bioware/dragonage/packages/override and place them there, but still to no effect.
