The Fade needs...something. I can't stand it in Origins.
Difficulty curve on Nightmare going from moderately difficult - easy as the game progresses instead of being consistent. I know some people like that, but I don't. :/

This too.

Convenient third options. I'm okay with a couple or so as long as you earn them unlike certain choices we saw in Origins (COUGHREDCLIFFECOUGH).
Making DLC/expansions that ruin immersion and spit on it's corpse for people who make a certain choice in the main game eg Ultimate Sacrifice wardens "getting better" in Awakening.

- Fade, hated it and i think it was a poor decision to try to extend the story that way
- Too many Active Spells which are really similar, especially in awakenings, my lower bar way too cramped.
Thats it for me..

err...i take it that Shepard V DV is a mod? Never ever saw anything like that while playing
It's a joke coupled with an awesome screen from an awesome mod.
But now we must add that quest to Origins. With a mod.
Ah. Jokes and sarcasm tend to fly over my head on the internet
Jokes and sarcasm? What are you talking about? I was serious!
But in all seriousness (heh) though, mainly levels like Orzamaar or the Fade, they were so boring.
Off topic: quick question, should my last sentence have a coma (,) or semi-colan (

Not much I can think of, DA2 is starting to look alot like Origins now. Before it looked 'cartoonish'...not a bad thing, it's a GREAT thing :-)

That and the overwhelm/grab till death in seconds thing, come on! I get it for the squishier members in the party but my God, a strength-focused Sten? It was waaay too fast as well. You could release 'em if you stunned the enemy target but unless you had someone right next to them, no chance. And yeah, all those anti-knockdown things should help that, especially shields, since hey, thats part of what they're for.

Having your whole team stunlocked by 3 archers while the rest of the 20 mobs steals your candy in your pockets is not fun.

I want everyone to acknowledge things my character does. Not just one or two characters after a very short list of events in the game. For example: everyone's silence if Alistair is executed and Loghain joins was disappointing. Even apathy at recent events is better than nothing.
On a similar train of thought, I want our actions to be remembered by characters if they harshly conflict with their ethics or beliefs. Having Leliana and Alistair suggesting against keeping the Anvil of the Void and losing ten approval if the Warden does is fine. Being able to carry on without comment after a gift is not. Characters should remember such actions, and it should impact their overall view of the protagonist in a semi-permanent fashion. Maybe certain rivalry shifts can only be corrected by acting in a way in accordance with a given NPC's morals rather than having conversation options and gifts influence them.
- Leliana-like Romance Pacing
Integrating a romance into the plot, or at least pacing it in such a way that blowing through all its content halfway into the game is unlikely.
- Über Gear in Shops
Two or three end game items sold in shops is okay. It gives us something worthwhile to save up for. Having more useful high end gear sold to our characters rather than found is boring. One of the fantasy RPG staples I enjoy most is questing for that godlike item, or finding it on the corpse of a powerful foe.
- Gifts
I believe these have been overhauled so hopefully my issues have been addressed. I touched on this earlier. In short, I dislike 'get out of jail free' cards that can erase whatever negative opinion a party member has of us. It both diminishes the impact your decisions have on party members, and makes those characters seem shallower to boot.
- Morrigan
I already know she has no role in DA2, but it has to be said. :innocent:

Deep roads, elven tombs? Please hell no, they've all been done in countless other fantasy franchises.

And what makes everyone assume that it will be the same all over again? It was not the concept of the Fade and the Deep Roads itself that was the problem, but how it was represented in the game.
I can't speak for "everyone," but I wasn't making any such assumptions. I believe they will probably be quite improved, as was the Fade in Awakening.
