Female characters have their own rig now, so I doubt we will see a return of ape walking and such. On the other hand it may mean ridiculously exaggerated hip swaying or some such. :P

As long as they don't waggle their butts like female Draenei in WoW lol it shouldn't be such a bad thing^_^

Hey, there's nothing wrong with a little /waggle. It's better than female characters running around with their shoulders all strangely hunched over and their legs moving as if they'd soiled themselves.

Convenient third options. I'm okay with a couple or so as long as you earn them unlike certain choices we saw in Origins (COUGHREDCLIFFECOUGH).

Hey, I LIKE my third options! :P

However, I agree that perhaps they should be made a bit more difficult to obtain. Like with Virgil's Keep and Amaranthine - you can save both, but ONLY of several conditions have been fulfiled before that.

I'd also voice my opinion about the Fade - the problem with the Fade part in DAO was that the Sloth Demon's realm in the Fade was that even if it was (IMO) very well-done, it was also fairly linear, long and repetive - and to boot, we also did it all alone! No interesting talk from our companions while we explore it or the like... Posted Image

1) bugs that make quests impossible to complete
2) companions that force themselves into your party and are locked into your party until you complete a quest.
3) the fade (i wouldn't mind it if they made it shorter and less boring.)
4) messed up endings. ex: my first time through the game Anora said allistair died in the Blight when he didn't

I agree that they really need to change the sex scenes in this game, they were awfully implemented in DAO

The absolutely useless loot which we were so often stuck with

Maybe more levels which are shorter? While I have no problem with the Deep roads and The Fade being implemented again, if they weren't so incredibly long and instead two levels each half the length or something like that was introduced I think it would improve the game

Well, I wasn't saying a little was I? ;) A little I could live with. As long as it doesn't look like Hawke is strutting or mincing across the battlefield, I'm good.

I totally agree. It wasn't a good look for the male characters either

Side quests that depend on random loot (Garnets anyone ?)

Getting quests that can not be done because the quest areas are not opened. (Alienage)

Oh, and a lot of the other stuff that was already mentioned, too. ^_^

My list:

- Warden shuffle - (fixed already?)
- Useless items (spirit balm? really? And that's the useful one!)
- More useless than useless items (I will kill someone if I get another blank vellum.)
- Endless generic combat encounters in every combat area (Deep roads and brecilian forest were pretty bad about this.)
- Junk = cash (When you have to click on every enemy you kill to get 4-5 coppers each to buy your 30 gold equipment, everything sloooows down.)

I'm sure I'm missing something, but those are off the top of my head. Combat is great when it's not room after room of the same thing in a row, and "roleplaying" doesn't require looting every stinking corpse for an extra blank vellum.

Basically this ^ ^ and the mage hats.
Some of the things I wanted to go or be improved like the gift system, mages not having a finishing move, accidently romancing someone etc etc look like they've been improved and redone for DA2.

I didn't mind the Deep Roads and the Fade in DAO per say, I just hope there a lot shorter this time round.

As far as I know, the shuffle has been fixed at least. You can see the evidence in the Combat Walkthrough video.

Really when a creature did some kind of grab and wouldn't let go until I died, it was the only time I felt cheated while playing.

Yeah, especially those damn giant spiders that knock you down and start eating your face. If it's just me in the party, I might as well be dead because there's nobody to knock it off. Maybe give me a way to struggle out of it? Mashing the left click button would actually be useful in this scenario. Same with the ogres grabbing and pummelling me.

It's even worse when there's 4 or 5 of them and they just keep doing it till you die, without giving you a chance to escape (CHILDERS)

That's what Cone of Cold was for, or some other stun spell Posted Image

I think most of the things listed have already been announced as being changed in DA2, which is a good thing! Well, mostly. Likely shorter Fade and Deep Road maps mean the game is shorter.

As for on topic, I'd say ridiculously overpowered spells like Cone of Cold. heh

"Can I get you a Ladder so you will get off my back!?"

On a more serious note: Annoying sustainables effect that make your character glow purple, or make a Voosh Voosh sounds every 2 seconds.

Poor framerates on the PS3

I wasn't a fan of the travel in between large areas with one single randomly generated battle on the map path.

More battles with darkspawn or similar so you can train up, like at least one dungeon where enemies constantly spawn or something, perhaps unlocked after a mission.

Also hope they're less stingy about gold.

Poultices, identical bodies for everybody and the batter pose when weilding the two handers.

Oh and crap rewards like when you save arl eamon, his village, his castle, his child and get rid of the old harpy for him and in return receive a shield, a bastard bloody shield the ungrateful arse should be showering me with gold while I fornicate with every willing woman in the arldom while feasting on the freshest venison and quaffing the finest wines from his cellars.

Git.

I gotta add in the Leliana singing scene. I don't think I've ever cringed so much at anything else in my entire life.

I really, really hope that if there is a singing scene anywhere in DA2, it is done by the VO and not a different person. I'm sorry if anyone actually liked it but it was definitely the worst part of the game for me - worst than the Fade and worse than Marjolaine's and Isolde's "accents" combined.
