Greetings, I just bought Mass Effect over Steam today and ran into a problem (either from the game itself or my aging system). I changed the video setting to windowed mode and everything turned blue...much like the options menu...but not just the game my whole computer. I'm just wondering how I can fix this problem.
I have a Nvidia 9600gt graphics card with 2gb ram and have windows xp sp3. I'm probably too much of a noob to tell you any more than that.
Oh and I already tried to change the setting from my computer but it seems like this blue tint has been normalized...no matter how i change the gamma or color it stays the same.

fixed it....one of my plugs was loose...i was certain that it wasn't the culprit but I figured I would try to jiggle it and it was loose. Problem resolved.

For your "next time", with any game:

For any other interested parties, sometimes there is just such a "tint" effect, in red or green, in games when the graphics driver is just slightly mismatched to the particular video graphics card.
