Incineration Specialist and Overload Specialist. What Im wondering is that if it is easier or faster to use an exisisting Sheppard to start a new game to try to get these achievements, or try a new charactor on lower lvl baddies.

While Im at it, are there any tricks, equipment or upgrades that will help with the Brawler ahievement?

These are my last 3 achievements before 100% and I want to get them done with finally. Ive had this game since launch on xbox. I usually dont care about achievements, but on this game I do for some reason.

The brawler achievement is easiest for a class built for getting in close combat, though any class can do it quite easily. If you are not accustomed to higher difficulties, this achievement can be earned on lower difficulty levels without much trouble. Enemies may die too quickly from your melee attack though. Just be deliberate about it.

It's probably easiest to continue an already started game and play through some N7 missions.

Overload specialist is easy: just take Garrus along on a mission vs. some Blue Suns or Eclipse, and make liberal use of Area Overload. If you've got all the tech upgrades available to whatever point you're at, that should be enough to completely drain the shields of any generic troopers (at a high level, supplement it with a couple levels in his class skill for +power damage).

Incineration specialist is a bit trickier because there aren't as many missions that are armor only. If Shepard has incinerate (engineer/infiltrator), you can rack up lots of points early in a new game on Mordin's recruitment mission. Otherwise, you'll need Mordin on your team, with the best places probably being his loyalty mission, Grunt's loyalty mission, and the derelict reaper. Obviously there are lots of other possibilities: the Blood Pack N7 missions are armor only, but are short; and any mission with LOKI mechs will work, but you'll run into lots of shielded enemies too.

Edit: All this assumes you're playing on hardcore or insanity.  The achievements are really easy to pick up there than on normal/veteran.

It says on Wiki that squad mates Overload doesnt count, but disruptor ammo does. However, Ive been playing and it doesnt appear that disruptor ammo does count after probably 2 dozen times that Ive completely disrupted shields with disruptor ammo.

As for Incineration, squad mates do count. Ive been using Mordin to do such a thing.

After trying for 2 hours and not being able to get a single disruptor point Ive decided to just make new game using an Engineer. They have both Incineration and Overload, so it shouldn't take long.

Ive exhausted every mission on all of my games anyways, all except one and I dont want to play him anymore.

As for the wiki, I believe its wrong. I dont think disruptor ammo counts for the achievement.

The wiki is wrong.

As said above, use Garrus for the Overload achievement and Mordin for the Incinerate achievement.

A good mission to use Mordin's is the "Husk Cave" N7 mission.  Incineration Blast (AoE) can take out 3 at a time easy.  Just save and reload the game a few times if you need to and you should get it in minutes.

For Brawler, the best class is definitely Vanguard.  Charge - > Melee - > Eviscerator will take out basically any "grunt" level enemy.  It took me about 2 missions of "trying" to get that one mostly because Shot -> Melee is often more effective than Melee -> Shot coming out of a Charge.

I found Incinerate pretty easy to get in certain Collector missions (playing on Hardcore), the Abominations (the updated Husks) are pretty prevalent and with heavy incinerate it's one shot to drop their armor from full to zero.

Overload.. I can't remember where I got this one from, but if you're on a mission with plenty of shielded guys (like Geth infantry) and just make liberal use of Overload, you should be fine.

How have you completed the game on Insanity and not got Overload and Incinerate Specialist? They are practically core skills to have on allies when dealing with Shields and Armour. Area Overload and Blue Suns or Geth and Area Incinerate and Husks or Blood Pack.

Well, it took me a while to get those two and Warp, mostly because I tended to play the Soldier class the most, with Zaeed and Grunt or let the squad cast their powers on their own.

Warp was actually one of the last I got, simply because I didn't use a squad were at least one member had that power available to use in the first place.

So maybe something similar happened with the OP?

Getting these achievements is usually just patience and persistence. I'm surprised you still haven't gotten them yet. Like what the others have said, you might want to try the different classes, if you haven't already. For example, I got my brawler achievement playing a vanguard... just naturally over the course of the run. I got my Tactician and Overload achievements from playing sentinel. I did all these while still playing normal and veteran, and most of my achievements were done by my 3rd playthrough.

Keep at it, I guess. GL

I would do a sentinel walkthrough on veteran difficulty with Mordin.

You can do the Overload, Mordin for the Incinerate and veteran because... I had problems doing the brawler achievement on lower difficulties because the enemies died too quickly.

But the Engineer can do it, for brawler you probably need to spam the drone to get closer to your enemies.

Er, why would you pick Veteran? The enemies won't all have defences. Hardcore gives all enemies a weak defence so breaking it wouldn't even be difficult even with low level Incinerates/Overloads.

And if you had to pick 1 i'd say practically any of the 3 combat classes work best. Get up close and personal with Adren Rush, Cloak or Charge, melee them then shoot them in the face.
