She is awesome on nightmare. My rogue had no problem on normal (even did it a few times for different endings). But my mage on nightmare was awful. She died three times so I restarted on all. I had arcane warrior so I put on armor and shimmering shield so she could take out the lyrium veins. You can have multiple party members do this while your tank fights or kites. once that's done, just focus all damage on her. She will go down pretty quickly at that point. The fight before her gave me hell because I didn't have sustained DPS. We went through 20 lesser lyrium pots for that fight! Leliana as an archer is pretty much worthless and magic gets resisted soo much.
Branka fight *help please*

I've been playing on Hard for a few playthroughs and have never had any problems with the Branka fight. Sometimes I wonder if I'm playing a different game than others, lol. Most I've seen Branka pull out was some earthquake thing after using a Lyrum vein.
Even with a ****ty party, as long as you have 2 characters with stuns/knockdowns it's laughable to control her. Sun has diminish returns, but knockdowns don't. Stun > Knockdown > Stun etc and win. Ignore the adds and just gank her down if you want to end the fight quickly.

OK, first of all, Branka will use the lyrium veins to do various things, so touch all of them with your mage. Branka will target the mage right away. Another thing I noticed was that the blue golems get owned by the red golems, so they need help...You want to keep them around to fight Branka. I took my 3 party members to attack one of the golems that was attacking one of the blue golems. We owned him pretty quick. Very first thing I did was cast force field on Branka, and then ran my mage around to touch the lyrium veins so Branka couldn't use them. CoC on golem, then immediately crushing prioson and about 60% of the time they shatter...So, out of 4 golems to fight and Branka, we held branka out and owned two of the red golems in seconds...after that the blue golems help you pound the red golems pretty quick, and you continue to stun Branka (although she resists often) with force field & CoC and then it's just her, your party and hopefully a golem...if she has no lyrium veins to touch she can't recover fast enough.

I played on easy and it took me awhile aainst Branka. So, finally I just went back to where I saved before I went into the Anvil room, and chose to fight Caridan instead. It was the same lay out and enemies, but a much easier fight. I didn't have any strategy for it, just went in an winged it. It came down to just my warrior and Morrigan. Running around and getting the lythium does help a lot though. And if you feel bad about killing Caridan and using the anvil, you can still have it destroyed which made feel better about the decision.

On easy, I figured it out on my second try.
Have everyone target the SAME enemy golem, Not Branka, but just one enemy golem. Your mage might have to run, because yes, Branka WILL try to kill a mage as a first priority, but everyone else just pound an enemy golem down. Then move onto the next golem, and so forth. When you're done with that and only Branka is left, you should have at least one of the two friendly golems still alive to help you. Now concentrate on Branka. When she does her mirror image thing, just focus on one of her. When one falls, they all fall, the end.

When I got stuck on that dwarf mob chick I left, went back to came and remade it up with Ali, Wynne and Morrigan. I think in this scenario you have to keep the dwarf duder, but otherwise you might try heading all the way out and grabbing up Wynne or Morrigan. I am currently on the fight myself, but haven't really gotten to the meat of my attempts yet.

Just finished the fight, used the kiting method. Ran Ali around in circles while the team basically picked off the mobs. Only problem I had was my PC spewing fireballs I had on tactics from the spiders swarms and it kept knocking Ali down and getting him pummeled. Once I took that off it was easy peasy.

this fight is driving me insane...I'm usually good with tactics, but nothing has worked yet (playing on normal). Wish I had cone of cold spell...that has to be one of the best. No matter, I will prevail eventually *sighs*

Equip your tanks with mauls so they do crushing damage against the golems. They'll go down quick then. Oghren with a decent maul can be the difference in this fight.
