Whatever. I'm just not getting my hopes up. Hard 'cause DA:O is the only game I can play worth crap, so I can't wait for DA2

Last I checked, they were still polishing the game. They aren't going to release a buggy demo.

I just checked my inbox, I got the same mail (I'm from Denmark too), I didn't really think about it at the time. So there may be a demo coming or maybe EA have just screwed up

It could be that the beginning area thats been shown to death at conventions is what they'd release. In any event, if the card that came with Awakening is any indication, it would seem they've had something in the works for a while now. Whether thats the demo or something else.

But yes, a bad demo on top of the relative lack of coverage for the game, plus the fact that its more than one month out still would be a very bad thing in terms of hype.

I am cautiously optimistic. That said, I still have to finish my DA:O play-through before this game releases.

I'm also kinda looking forward to the wave of hate that this will generate if proven a hoax, mistake or mis-communication.

Let's hope that potential hate will be directed at EA Denmark and Norway for messing up, and not BW.

There is never a good enough reason to shave ones beard.
I wish I could grow a beard. Facial hair rocks. But I guess it's good I can't grow one...it'd look silly.

People read the game files from the CC, managed to find all sorts of things. Stuff like Loghain being a companion and stuff.

It can't be a coincidence Feb. 1st is a Tuesday, but it still seems odd they'd release a demo for a game with next to no warning or hype. Then again, thats how they announced DA2 as well.

people combed through the files attached to the CC and the forum was flooded with spoilers right before DAO released. i'm in the same boat Dave, i'll be MIA if it is a CC/Demo
